Description
This waterfront home with your own private pool is great for families, couples or large enough for a gathering of friends. You can fish out your back door, or take out the kayaks provided with your stay. The home is located in a private island community on the Anclote River minutes from the famous Tarpon Springs Sponge Docks. Several beaches are close by, as are plenty of great restaurants, sightseeing attractions and shopping venues. The open water of the Gulf of Mexico is just minutes by boat.
The home is a beautifully decorated 2,300 sq ft 3 bedroom, 3 full bathroom two-story with a loft that provides sleeping for a total of 9 guests. Linens are of high quality and the pool bath is stocked with pool towels. There are ceiling fans in every room. The master suit has a king-size bed, flat screen tv and a large garden tub with a newly remodeled granite bathroom. The other bedrooms have queen beds, and the loft has a pyramid bed with a twin on the top and a full on the bottom and has its own tv making it great for teens or kids. Furnishings and decorations are of vibrant tropical colors, and the home is immaculately maintained by professional housekeeping
There is vision fitness elliptical trainer with a tv overlooking the pool area.
The back of the home opens up to the water and sparkling pool area with a newly constructed 2 level spacious deck, perfect for cocktail hour or outdoor dining. The main living area is a combined great room, granite and stainless kitchen, and bar. There is a big flat screen TV and leather seating in the family room. The kitchen is fully stocked with all cooking necessities and there is a grill right out the back door on the deck. Beautiful office area overlooking the pool and canal with internet throughout the house.
Nature enthusiasts will appreciate that there are no backyard neighbors and wildlife abounds. Dolphins and manatees frequent the canal, and eagles osprey and often sighted. Fishing can be done from the seawall and poles and bait can be purchased just down the road at The Bait Bucket. Kayaks provided with the rental are perfect for exploring the inland waterways filled with mangroves and abundant wildlife.
Please note the pool is not surrounded by child-proof fencing. Non-swimmers and young children should be closely monitored.
