Getting around

Since we are s well located. Walking will get you to most interests in town. If you want to explore further down the coast. We can suggest several options like hiring a taxi, bus, or colectivo. Sometimes renting a car for a day or two is helpful too.

Interaction with guest

Both Françoise and I are happy to assist with your vacation needs. Before and during your stay. I am living near by, year round and easily accessible by a telephone in the courtyard. I enjoy meeting our new guests and sharing some tips with them. I generally don't come knocking on your door in respect of your privacy and rest. Our maid Virginia or Mariela are very trustworthy and will come by to clean your suite a few times in the week. You can request that she come at an earlier or later time of day up until 3pm.

House rules

Smoking is permitted only on exterior private spaces. Not indoors or in common area near pool or staircase.

Noise levels should be kept down after 10pm. No entertaining/parties on the premises.
$40 fee per stay for a pet due on arrival.
Pool hours are between 10 am and 10 pm. Parents must be present at all times with children in/around pool area. Children and yes, adults, must keep voices down when swimming in pool. No yelling and screaming. Respecting other guests.

The essence of the Plantation House, has resulted in a growing family of wonderful guests from around the globe who make it their home for a while. Clean housing, perfect location. Breakfast just across the street was wonderful. The only negative would be the noisy night clubs right down the block. Bring ear plugs!!!
