Description

This house celebrates and embraces the wonderful diversity of this great country. We welcome with arms stretched wide, our brothers and sisters of all races,creeds and sexual orientation. Together we will not build walls but a magnificent future for our children and future generations.

Our beautiful and delightful cottage sits in the middle of a beautiful garden just minutes away from the city center. Located in a quiet historic district close to Brickell, the Health District, the Grove ,Wynwood, Little Havana and 8 minutes away from South Beach. We have a comfortable kitchen and a great and irresistibly romantic area for al fresco dining. Public transportation is close by- metro rail, buses and trolley- . You can also bicycle to Downtown, Wynwood, the Health District and even the Grove. Rental bicycles can be found at the Publix supermarket by the river. Sewell park is close by and provides a beautiful experience of the Miami River. We have a deep love for the property and have enjoyed living among the flowers, the birds, the lizards, the cats and our huge mango tree (very Miami) while at the same time being so close to the Arsht center, the PAMM, and Rosa de La Cruz, Rubell and Margulies art collections. For baseball fans, we are located half a block away from the Marlins ball park. We also go to the Tower theater a delightful space that screens wonderful movies.

We have a very green street with a beautiful canopy. Grove Park has been federally designated historical and we are very proud of our neighborhood. It is quiet, peaceful, friendly and safe. Easy access to 836 East and West, 395 ( Miami Beach) I-95 North and South. We have a couple of restaurants which are colorful and good, and a great gym by the UM medical center across the bridge on the other side of the river.

HOUSE RULES- A reservation with us implies you agree to the below rules:

We have a deep love for our property and we hope our guests can appreciate the care we put into it. We appreciate our guests keeping it clean and organized. We do not allow smoking anywhere in the property and unfortunately we can't accept pets (but we love them :( )We have a cat that roams the property, sometimes with friends. He will not come into your cottage and will not bother you at all. We recycle religiously and will provide the necessary containers to separate the trash. We understand the world's need for water and we save water as much as we can. We provide fresh linens on a weekly basis on or demand as well as towels. We live in a peaceful and quiet neighborhood and we hope you understand that loud noise after 10PM weekdays is discouraged. If you are bringing visitors, kindly check with us in advance. No parties are allowed. We provide you with keys to the property. Please understand that if you lose them we have to replace them at a cost of $35.00. We ask you not to take the regular towels to the beach. Please ask us and we will gladly provide you with larger, brighter and way more fun towels for your beach day. We ask you to keep us informed about your time of arrival as soon as possible and before the date of arrival so we can make arrangements to receive you. We request from our guests to provide us with a window of 1 to 1.5 hours of arrival time the day before arrival so we can plan appropriately for your welcome. If you are checking in after 9PM kindly check with us in advance to make sure it is possible.

We invite you to use our collection of movies ( in the basket) and our books and please return them once you are finished so all of our guests can enjoy them. If you have to ship packages to our address, bear in mind that we will:

Take 1 or 2 small packages

The package must not require a signature

The package must be addressed to you and C/O (care of) Ines Cortes

We require you let us know you are sending a package and the approx date of delivery

Even though we will obviously do everything it takes to secure your package, we are free of all and any responsibility regarding the package(s) safety.

If you are coming for a surgical procedure be advised that you must let us know before hand and you are coming with another person to help you out. Be aware that we might have to cancel the reservation if not clearly informed to us.

If you have to ship packages to our address, bear in mind that we will:
