Description

If you require any combination of dates not shown or a ‘short break’ please look up ‘forestmillholidaycottages’ and enquire further.

Forest Mill Cottage is a delightfully situated detached former mill resting on the banks of the upper reaches of the Monnow River at the foot of the Black Mountain, just 7 miles from Hay on Wye.

It is beautifully renovated to an exceptional standard retaining many original features. There are two bedrooms; The 'River Room' which has a deluxe king-size bed and The 'Hobbit Room' which can be set up either as a super king or a twin room. There are also single occasional sofa beds in each bedroom for extra guests, allowing up to three people per room. If you bring dogs that are likely to climb onto the beds please bring your own bedding and confirm at the time of booking you intend to do this. Any cottage bedding that is marked by dogs will be charged for.

The sitting room is super comfy with a wood burner and the usual smart tv, DVD player, Bluetooth speaker and games! The kitchen diner is a fabulous room for enjoying family and friends time all together.

For the warm summer evenings there is a huge, private and fully enclosed patio with comfy Al Fresco dining area and BBQ.

Steps lead up to the private and enclosed garden and parking area and a woodland path leads down to the river! If you are looking for a quiet restful retreat in beautiful surroundings with wonderful walks from you doorstep this could be the cottage for you!
