Beautiful cottage in a lovely setting with magnificent views. Handy for Ryde and the eastern end of the island. Very pleasant owners who obviously take a pride in their cottages. Would recommend to anyone without hesitation.

We arrived in February - cold, wet and windy - in order to go house hunting and the accommodation was very warm and welcoming. Lovely central heating radiators. The kitchen was well equipped and a bigger television than you get in a caravan. The bath/shower room is outstanding and the shower was very powerful and refreshing. It is set in such a quiet and idyllic setting and it was just like home. Our dogs felt very comfortable and relaxed, plus they enjoyed their morning walks which are right on the doorstep. It is in easy reach by car of all beaches and amenities. The owners made sure we were comfortable and everything was working fine. They are a very nice couple and extremely helpful and I would not hesitate to recommend the Stables to anyone who is looking for a break on the Isle-of-Wight. Absolutely brilliant!!! There is nothing about the accommodation, or anything else for that matter, that we could fault.

The accommodation is excellent - clean, comfortable and up to date. Of special note is the wet room.
Also the outside space is most attractive, having a lovely outlook and everything you need to enjoy nice weather.
Our hosts were helpful and friendly. We had a few problems connecting our Ipad to the net. They went to great lengths to get it sorted.
There are footpaths nearby for dog walking.
There are shopping facilities within a few miles and plenty of places to visit.
If we return, and we may, we will send more time enjoying the view and less sightseeing.

The Stables is a great cottage on the Isle of Wight. It is just outside Ryde, with lots of peace and quiet. You have to drive five to ten minutes to find a pub, or a Tesco's, but the atmosphere at The Stables is great. The owners are very friendly, as are the horses, donkeys, sheep and dogs. I will return soon.
