Self proclaimed as "The West's most western town", Scottsdale is one town that isn't short on heritage… or pride. In fact, the town celebrates its history as one of the American

Scottsdale's western spirit is displayed in many events that celebrate cowboy culture. Since 1955, the Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show has taken place annually,
recently bringing in as many as 2,000 purebred horses. Another time-honored tradition in Scottsdale is the Jaycees Parada del Sol, a month-long cowboy event
