The house is ideally situated, with sun-drenched rooms (fully cooled by the solar-powered aC), wonderful red-rock views through oversized windows, and convenient driving access to trails, restaurants, and other amenities. The private and public spaces were roomy and comfortable for four adults (one couple and two singles). The house was clean and provided everything we needed. The owners were well-organized, informative, and generally delightful to deal with. I would stay here again when traveling with a small group.

Left on 05/02/2013 for a stay in April 2013
Immediately upon walking in the home we were in awe of the amazing views of the Red Rocks so close to us!
Four of us stayed very comfortably in this roomy home. We loved the spacious layout with the bedrooms on either side of the centrally located family area and kitchen. And we were so pleased with the cleanliness , tasteful decor , and comfort of this home. The red rock views surpassed our expectations and were even better than the pictures on the website. The home is on a beautifully maintained and landscaped lot in a nice and quiet neighborhood. We were hoping for a peaceful retreat and we found exactly that. It's very conveniently located to amenities and hiking trails. Waking up everyday to the views was such a joy!
Tim and Karen were a pleasure to work with. On our last day we were unexpectedly not able to travel and they kindly accommodated us at the last minute to stay one more night.
We would love to stay in this wonderful home again next time we travel to Sedona.
Thank you Tim and Karen!

Left on 04/19/2013 for a stay in April 2013
Our family of 5 from UK stayed here for 3 nights april '13. We wished we had booked for much longer! The house is very well presented, all the facilities you could need and even with 3 children we had plenty of space. Very comfortable, clean and light and airy plus the great view of the red rocks as all others have commented. Location of Oak Tree village perfect, plenty of restaurants and nearby hiking trails at Bell Rock, Courthouse Butte and not too far to the creek for a picnic and swim. Main street Sedona less than 10 minutes drive but much busier, nice to get back to a more peaceful location at the end of the day and relax on the decked patio. Very helpful and frequent communication from the owners prior to the stay and plenty of useful tourist info on arrival. Would love to go back.

We spent the last week in March at this house. It was perfect for the four of us. The house was spacious, clean and well equipped. The location worked well for us to be just a bit removed from the busy scene in Sedona yet able to get there readily. The photos of this house and the red rock views were extremely accurate--the red rocks are right there! We found good hiking without having to drive. Overall an excellent stay.

Just got back from Sedona and our family of four stayed three nights in this home on a quiet and beautiful residential street. Location is great - in Oak Creek, just a short drive south of Sedona on an incredibly scenic road, and home is at the foot of stunning red rocks. House was really well kept, with a lot of thoughtful touches like a Red Rock pass, local information, comfy huge sofa and big screen TV. Easy to park, which was helpful as we had a couple of cars. Process of paying deposit and getting keys ahead of time was very smooth and owners kept a good line of communication flowing. Would highly recommend this to anyone staying in the area.

Beautiful home with an amazing red rock view. We didn't want to leave. Its in a great location...close to tons of wonderful hiking. Hopefully we will be back to Sedona soon and we will definitely stay here again. It has everything you would need for a comfortable stay. Each night after hiking we would relax in the living room or on the deck with a drink while enjoying the view. It was heaven!

We really loved the house, and its awesome view of the red rocks. The house was very clean and well equipped. Location was ideal, very close to Sedona but not as busy (very peaceful neighbourhood). We enjoyed the hiking trails in Sedona. We found the binder of house instructions and tourist attraction brochures was very helpful. We would love to come back again!!

This was our first visit to arizona but it won't be our last. We couldn't have been happier with our choice of homes to use as our home away from home. It exceeded all our expectations. Besides being exceptionally well-kept and clean, Sugarloaf has all the amenities but the best part is it's location right beside one of Sedona's towering red rocks. Whether sipping on a glass of wine in the living room or soaking up some rays on the patio, we were overwhelmed by the spectacular views. Truly a slice of heaven that everyone should be able to experience.
The owners, Karen & Tim, know what their guests need and they have this down to a fine art. We appreciated the detailed instructions and tourist information they provide for their guests. We used the Red Rock pass a number of times and hiked the trails for hours. It was exhiliarating! We were fortunate enough to view the rocks with a smattering of snow which only emphasized their beauty. Staying in Sedona afforded us the opportunity to go site-seeing in the Grand Canyon and Jerome. A visit to the museum in Wickenburg and then a shopping expedition to the outlet stores were also worthwhile trips.
To Karen & Tim - thank you for sharing this lovely home with us. We had an awesome stay in Sedona! -

We had a wonderful time in Sedona this winter, even had a day of snow. There is nothing more beautiful than when you wake up to find the red rocks peaking out from the white snow. This property is close to some good hiking trails and not too far from good shopping and restaurants (15 min). It has a nice floorplan for a family, as there is one big central living area.

Last December my wife and I spent 3 nights in this lovely home and loved and wanted to return again soon. This year we were joined by another couple and found this home could easily accommodate the four of us. While the temperatures were cooler this December and we got a couple of days of rain the fireplace seemed to make all of that go away.
One morning we had a bobcat go wondering between houses which was a fun experience. -

Tim and Karen's home is inviting and well furnished with everything you coud need for a short or long term stay. The furnishings are lovely and tasteful, and everything is in great condition. The home was certainly larger than we needed for just the two of us but we like to have a "home base" when we travel and the ability to have a living room separate from the bedroom and a kitchen as well. This was perfect.
The location just a few miles out of the hustle and bustle of Sedona was exactly what we prefer - a 5 minute drive to do what ever we want and quiet and peaceful when we want that too. Sedona is an amazing and beautiful area; our only regret is that we didn't stay 1-2 nights longer.
We would most definitely recommend this home to anyone looking for a comfortable well equipped 3 bedroom house in the perfect location in Sedona. -

We very much enjoyed staying here. The view was beautiful red rocks, and it was nicely located to the Sedona sites. Everything was clean and organized and I appreciate that it was not 'cluttered'! There were only the two of us to experience Sedona for the first time, but next time we would bring another couple. Many things to do and restaurants to choose from. Even took a drive up to the Grand Canyon. The Parking Pass for the parks was nice to have, as well as access to the internet.

We stayed at Karen & Tim's house with a group of friends (6 couples). It was the perfect size, clean and had the best view out the back porch. The house is fully stocked with practically anything you could need while staying there. If you want coffee in the morning...walk to the Bike & Bean - great little bike/coffee shop with an awesome staff. I would recommend this house to anyone and definitely am keeping it in mind for my next trip to Sedona!

Sedona was a great experience for the portion of my family that was able to make this trip. We enjoyed hiking and rock climbing, and especially enjoyed Cathedral Rock, Bell Rock, Devil's Bridge and the Telephone Trail (a seldom visited, steep climb away from the "flip flop crowd). Tim & Karen's home and the entire experience working with them was exceptional. The views from the home are special, the location is great, and it was great fun to come back in the evening and cook on the grill to share a home cooked family meal after a day wearing ourselves out in a beautiful corner of God's creation. The location is also convenient for a day trip to the Grand Canyon, leaving at 5:00am we were enjoying breakfast at El Tovar Hotel at the edge on the South Rim before 7am. After 6 hours of hiking and exploring, we headed back to the home base and enjoyed cooking dinner on the grill.
If we have the chance to return to Sedona, we would definitely check on availability of Tim & Karen's home.

We had a wonderful experience renting this home in Sedona. Tim and Karen responded quickly to each question we had. The home was very clean and well decorated. It was comfortable for my family of four and my parents. They especially enjoyed the patios where they watched wildlife in the mornings and evenings. The view from the main room was spectacular. We would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a comfortable vacation rental.

We really enjoyed staying at this home in Sedona. The views were excellent and such a surprise when woke up the next morning, as we had arrived after dark. The living space was very comfortable and clean, and everything we needed was supplied. We saw four deer the first morning, then several rabbits, and all kinds of cool lizards, and all by standing in the living room. The house is well-appointed and tastefully decorated. It was a perfect house. Very peaceful, well appointed, with a lovely view. The kitchen, dining room, and living room areas were open and inviting, and made for easy group interactions. The master was large, with a nice bathroom and walk-in closet. There was information about the area, good instructions for using the t.v, and wireless access. We absolutely loved our stay at the Caggiano home! We were in Sedona for a family wedding the week after Christmas. We decided to make a vacation of it since we were traveling from Texas. We arrived on Christmas Eve when it was dark and I can't tell you how surprised and thrilled we were when we opened the blinds on Christmas morning to see the most gorgeous view out the front window! What a gift! (see picture below)
The house is beautiful and immaculate! It has everything you need to make your stay extremely pleasant. From the appliances to the furnishings, all were up to date and comfortable.
The location is convenient to many trails and shopping. It is a 10-15 minute drive to downtown Sedona, but what a gorgeous drive it is!
It was perfect for us as we enjoyed many activities throughout the week. My husband and kids went skiing near Flagstaff a couple of days, we went hiking, shopping, sight-seeing, visited the Grand Canyon (a couple of hours away) and were involved in all the wedding festivities toward the end of the week and this location was convenient for everything!
Tim and Karen were so gracious and made the whole process easy and enjoyable. They were extremely helpful in giving us directions and suggestions for our stay. There was not one negative thing that I could say about our time there. We had the most perfect vacation! We would highly recommend this house and we would definitely stay here again!

As first time vacation home renters we were a bit hesitant and uncertain, but Karen and Tim made this a very easy and enjoyable experience.
This was our first trip to Sedona, and we stayed for a week in October. The house is situated in the Village of Oak Creek about 10-15 minutes south of Sedona proper,on a quiet easy to find street just off Rt 17. As a result, we enjoyed the beauty of the red rocks in many different types of light each time we drove into town, as well as being able to enjoy the solitude and quiet of not being in town itself. The house itself has beautiful views from almost every window, is clean and nicely furnished with up to date kitchen and laundry appliances, comfortable beds, extra linens, towels, games, maps, guidebooks, binoculars, a Red Rock Pass, take-out menus from area restaurants, novels, etc. just about anything that you might want whether you are exploring the area or just looking for some down time.
If we return to Sedona, we would have no hesitation to stay there again and are telling all our friends and family about our wonderful stay. We also will consider house rentals versus hotel stays in our future travels.
Thanks Tim and Karen for your beautiful home and affording us a wonderful experience. -

It is a beautiful, well maintained home with all of the amenities. The views of the Red Rocks and blue skies greet you from the great room in the morning and the stars from the patio say goodnight. It is in the golfing community in the Village of Oak Creek, just minutes away from all of the activities of Sedona including shopping, restaurants, hiking trails, wineries, casino, entertainment and sight seeing.
