Directions by car
Stamford is just off the A1, roughly half way between London and York.
From the A1 Forest Gardens can be reached via either Empingham Road or Casterton Road.
From either turn into Arran Road then turn north on Oak Road.
Forest Gardens is the third left turn on Oak Road.
The Garden Studio is in the top right hand corner of Forest Gardens with Garden House and Garden Studio signs to the front.

The studio is well apointed and the owner has tea bags milk, bread to start you of. The toilet / shower room with heated floor is lovely, and the towels soft and spotless. With a young son in tow, we will come back every time we come to visit friends in Stamford. Good location with easy access to the a1M. Lots to do in the area.

My Father and I decided to spend a nice relaxing weekend in Stamford which was recommended by our good friend.
The Studio was lovely! It is immaculately presented, spotlessly clean, and more than big enough for our needs for the weekend. It is located in a quiet cul-de-sac which is about a 20 minute walk from the centre of town, so we avoided using the car through the weekend.
Sylvia and Jeff made us feel very welcome upon arrival, especially with the lovely food that they left in the kitchen for us. Their hospitality really made us feel at home.
Thank you very much and definitely see you next year!!!

I found this little gem by chance and have been recommending it to people ever since I stayed at the beginning of September (though that may prove a poor move if it becomes too popular that I can't book in again!)
Jeff and Sylvia are a lovely couple and it is evident just by walking through the door of the Garden Studio the loving care and attention they have and continue to put into the property.
From the minute you step inside it is pure luxury. A particularly feature for me was being able to lay in bed and look at the stars through the roof windows. Find me a hotel room where you can do that!
It is within walking/taxi difference of Stamford town centre and very easy to find off the a1 (and that was without a Sat Nav).
Luxurious, great value for money and with the added benefits of self catering facilities. What more could you want? Book now...I have for November! -

We chose to stay here due to its location close to the a1 and the town of Stamford where we were visiting friends. It is attached to the managers' home but feels quite seperate and private with its own garden area. We were warmly welcomed and helped when we needed but weren't intruded upon.
The appartment has a split level layout with a large mezzanine bedroom area and is beautifully decorated throughout. There is lots of natural light from the ceiling skylight, the windows have blackout blinds so you can have a proper lie in if you wish! The facilities are first class and the wet room is a real luxury.
We couldn't have felt more at home!
