Redwood is unique in Stowe for its size and its character—picture your own personal ski lodge, with space and place for 16. This is where memories are made!

Just down the road from Stowe's famed Trapp Family Lodge (walking distance to the Bierhall!) and minutes from town, you will find this one-of-a-kind family home. Designed for family reunions, sports clubs, and small events, this eight bedroom, nine and a half bath house sleeps up to 16 people! The great room with a gas fireplace, comfortable couches, flat-screen TV, and cathedral ceilings leads out to a beautiful deck with gas grill and wrap-around bench seating. Feeding the crew is easy with a six-burner stove in the well-stocked kitchen, a large breakfast bar, and a ten-foot farmhouse table. An upstairs balcony overlooking the great room provides an additional conversation area with TV and a poker/game table.

The bedrooms are spread throughout the home's three floors and each feature private bathrooms. The lower level was made for kids and kids-at-heart with a game room including a large-screen TV, and pool table. The two dorm-style bedrooms on this level feature two sets of bunk beds and a single bed each—great for groups, families, and loads of giggles. Adding to the ski-lodge feel is a massive mud room with storage space for all your gear!

Given the central location, there are nearby activities to suit the whole group. Warm and welcoming, this house was designed for fun, casual, group stays any time of the year. It is perfect for wedding parties, multigenerational families, groups of friends, sport clubs, work retreats, and the list goes on!

I'd rent it again for our group, but you've got a septic problem - there's a distinct odor of sewage when you're standing outside the front door.
