A Very exclusive centrally located town house in Stratford upon Avon in a secluded up market courtyard complex of houses and private parking.
The Royal Shakespeare Theatre and town amenities, shops and tourist attractions are all within walking distance, the use of a car is not necessary nor recommended for visiting the town.
Car parking and a garage is provided Free of Charge for 2 cars in a Courtyard protected by gates operated with a personal code number.

Ideal situation with secure parking. Well equipped and furnished to high standard offering a very comfortable stay. Kitchen possibly ready for refurbishment but still immaculately clean.
Surprised to find blankets not duvets on beds, but still slept well.
Wi-fi access easy but why not free? Overall, the plus points far outweighed the minus points. A great self catering property. -

We stayed in Lysander Court for three nights in December, for Christmas shopping and theatre trips. The property is centrally located, with secure parking for the car (which was then not required again until we left). It is also within walking distance of the rail station, for those arriving by public transport. The mews house is on three levels, so one has to be energetic! Recently refurbished lounge/dining area. The fitted kitchen is getting a little worn, and probably next on the list for refurbishment, but it is well equipped. Two very comfortable and well-furnished bedrooms, double and twin, to hotel standards, and a bath/shower room. Oodles of hot water in the sink or basin, but it struggled a bit in the shower and bath during our visit in very cold weather. The owners are nearby though and will respond to any problems; a phone is provided for guests to contact them and they called shortly after our arrival to check that we had arrived, everything was as expected and that the place was warm enough.
We enjoyed most of all being able to walk to the theatre and having such a wonderful range of shops within easy reach - unlike home in Mid Wales!Response from Mr Val Mellini - 01/15/2013

No 4 Lysander Court is the best place to stay in Stratford-upon-Avon. The accommodation is clean, warm, very homely, secure and extremely central.

No 4 Lysander Court has been let to tourists and Theatre patrons for a long time I Stayed in this lovely house for the first some 15 years ago .
This property has been recently renovated and has retain its charm and comfort , its location in the very centre of Stratford in a very quite court yard with ample car park facilities makes is possibly the best holiday location in and around Stratford on avon.
The Housekeeping standards are first class and the attention to details way above expectations
I found the Internet booking system easy to use and very informative. -

No 4 Lysander Court was immaculately clean and welcoming - even a pint of milk in the fridge on arrival. The house has excellent and comfortable accommodation with all the equipment you could need for a short or longer stay including sky+ and flat screen TVs. The location was excellent - right in the centre of Stratford with secure parking which is a must. The theatres,shops, restaurants and walks are all literally on the door step of Lysander Court. We stayed with our 8 week old son and for us the fact we could pop back to feed him without any stress in a comfortable environment was really important. The only minor downfall was the house was really warm even in November without the radiators on! However, this did not detract from our stay in any way. We would definitely recommend Lysander Court to other holiday makers and would definitely stay there again ourselves.
