Set over three floors, this charming Polesworth cottage forms the larger side of the ancient Abbey gatehouse and can sleep four people in two bedrooms.Gatehouse Croft is set over three floors and forms the larger side of the ancient Abbey gatehouse and can sleep four people. This Polesworth cottage has a first floor half tester double bedroom with a reading area and an en-suite shower room, a second floor twin bedroom, a first floor bathroom, a ground floor basin and WC, a kitchen, a utility room and a sitting room with a dining area and a woodburner. Outside there is off road parking for two cars and a lawned garden with patio and furniture. Gatehouse Croft is a wonderful base for your relaxing holiday.
Amenities: Gas central heating with underfloor heating in sitting room and woodburner. Electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, DVD, CD/radio, WiFi, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel, power and wood for stove inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot, highchair and folding bed on request. Off road parking for 2 cars. Lawned garden with patio and furniture. One well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 2 mins walk. Note: There is a pub and social club across the road and some noise may be heard.
Region: Visitors to the Cotswolds have long treasured memories of charming towns and villages built from the famous honey-coloured stone, it now boasts a thriving community of contemporary artists working from studios and shops throughout the area.
Town: The town of Tamworth is a large market town which takes its name from the River Tame which flows through the town, along with the River Anker. Tamworth is home to both Tamworth Castle and the Moat House, two wonderful, historic buildings. The town is also home to the Snowdome, a full-sized indoor ski slope with real-snow and Drayton Manor Theme Park is not far away, providing a fun-filled day out for everyone.
