Smoke-Free, Pet Free. Minimum length of stay 5 days (depending upon the season). The property resides inside the gates of the acclaimed Lodge at Ventana Canyon Resort community. Ask us about short-term membership options for use of the Golf, Tennis, PickelBall, Spa, Fitness, Pools and Dining rooms (breakfast, lunch and dinner).
Visitors describe this as an absolutely magical place, with a feeling that cannot be conveyed just with photos. 162 five-star ratings on another rental site. What separates this property from other rentals, besides the phenomenal views, is the quiet and privacy. Despite being within the Ventana community, the private drive and 3.6 acre lot, and the way it's situated in the mountains, allows for a feeling of a complete get-away. Other homes may be in the mountains, but often have neighbors and roads so close that you don't get the same feeling of total privacy, and escape.
With views that extend to the edges of the surrounding Tucson mountain ranges and beyond you can enjoy Golf course, lake, and national park views right from the three decks and patio. If you're going through the adventure to rent a home, why not stay in a place that you'll never forget? Martha Stewart (no kidding!) visited and just loved it.
Quiet, secure, private and safe, the 3.6 acre property features 24/7 guarded, video-monitored entrance through the Lodge at Ventana Canyon and a separate, private drive with gate to the house. Full, monitored security system and ANSI-level 1&2 locks & security doors. The Lodge at Ventana Canyon has extensive facilities, including a resort pool with bar, Olympic sized, heated pool with pool house and cabanas. Golf (ranked in the top 75 in North America), Tennis (ranked in the top 50 in the world). Ask us about Spa and Dining availability and guest member rates. This can be set-up prior to your arrival.
This is a full-time, rental property, not our residence, so it's free of clutter and personal effects.
High-end electronics, fast internet 50 mpbs with 4 mesh wifi-6 routers, and nice decor. Three bedrooms, one king in the master and your choice of two extra-long twin beds or king beds in the other two bedrooms. One full bath with a two-person, separate from (two-person, two-head walk-in) shower. One three-quarter bath (shower, no tub), and one half-bath. Full bath connects to the master bedroom, and 3/4 bath connects both to a bedroom and living room. The two showers have (head-height) windows which open to the outside. Full kitchen (pots, pans, food storage, utensils, etc), along with cleaning supplies, spices and some condiments. Bar refrigerator and additional wine refrigerator. Laundry room with various soaps, cleaning supplies, vacuum, rags and an iron. 2.5 car garage with tools, bags and an extra refrigerator/freezer. No noisy neighbors or roads.
The input from dozens of past renters has taught us to furnish the home with extensive amenities. Precise attention to detail to make the home highly functional. Just a few of the examples include: propane grill, bedroom mirrors, alarm clocks, high-end portable wi-fi speaker systems, surge protector strips in each bedroom so you don't have to reach behind furniture to plug in, a small table to set things on near the front door, rags, cleaning supplies, shampoo, soap, tissues, candles, dimmers on most of the lights for creating moods, a small tool kit, and so much more.
The house has original artwork, custom mirrors, and new, solid wood furniture.
It includes a custom, comprehensive renter's guide with instructions on the operation of the house, appliances and entertainment, room-by-room inventory list, along with information of attractions and the best dining. Rates can be negotiated if the house is within the near term (last-minute availability).
