Description
Kishauwau Cabins is just a 10 minute drive from Starved Rock State Park and even closer to Matthiessen State Park. We are situated on 65 quiet, wooded acres on a bluff above the Vermilion River. Our cabins are nicely spaced to give everyone a sense of privacy. You will not find another rental in this area that will provide you the getaway experience we offer here.
Gather your family or friends together for this nature getaway and leave your worries behind. Plan your perfect family reunion or retreat with this grand space. We cater to large family reunions here also with several sizes of cabins to choose from. Grandma's cabin is the biggest cabin on site accommodating up to 14 people. It tends to be the gathering space for our large family reunions that have multiple cabins rented.
Make Kishauwau your Illinois cabin rental go to spot. Private luxury cabins with beautiful, secluded surroundings. We also have 4 dog friendly cabins on site. Your vacation is what you make it, and all the ingredients are here.
Be prepared to disconnect as our property is quite wooded so it disconnects you a bit from technology. I do keep one of our phones out in the office for guests to use if they have no cell reception.
Queen-size beds with cozy quilts, wood-burning stoves and fully-equipped kitchens with microwave ovens and your own personal outdoor bonfire pit are some of the many amenities. All linens and cooking utensils are provided. All our cabins have central heating and air conditioning.
