This semi-detached, barn conversion for 2 people is set on a working farm at the foot of the Long Mynd hills near to the village of Wentnor in Shropshire and is ideal to explore the nearby towns of Shrewsbury, Bridgnorth and Ironbridge. The Byre has been tastefully converted to offer accommodation for 2 people; a classic, romantic retreat. Exposed beams and a four-poster bed help it retain much of its original charm and there is also a small garden from which you can enjoy the stunning scenery or indulge in a spot of al fresco dining. There is parking for up to 2 cars, although the best way to get the most from this area is on foot.

All prices are inclusive of the booking fee. The "Min. Per Night" prices quoted are based on the weekly rental price, they are not applicable for short breaks. See our short break policy or ask for further details.
Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

We loved the Byre. It was spacious and comfortable with a great kitchen. The walks straight from the door were great and we also enjoyed walking to the pub. It was well located for many of Shropshire's sights and extremely peaceful.

This cottage was by far the best holiday rental we have experienced. The location, looking up at The Long Mynd, was perfect, the walking excellent and the local pub great! We shall hope to return for more holidays in The Byre.

Excellent welcome pack. Very clean and well furnished house. Great position with fabulous views. Good places to visit and quiet roads. A very chilled out week! Can't think of anything we didn't like.

A bit off the beaten track but well worth the effort to get there. Right next to the The Shropshire Way so with immediate access to some stunning walks and scenery. A compact holiday house that was comfortable and well equipped with everything needed for a holiday break.
