You are right in the midst of stunning coastal scenery with access to the beach, the sea and Ceredigion's Heritage Coast.

This ground floor apartment at The Old Post Office boasts a prime location in the heart of Aberporth: just grab your bucket and spade and walk onto the beach! The two sheltered Blue Flag sandy beaches of Aberporth make this seaside village one of Ceredigion's favourite holiday destinations. At low tide, rock pools are exposed and seals, dolphins and otters can often be seen close to shore. The coastal path passes just by The Penny Black providing wonderful walks passing sandy beaches, towering cliffs and rocky headlands.

The Penny Black sleeps up to 4 people. The zip link beds in the first bedroom give you the choice of twin beds or a king size bed while the second bedroom has a double bed and a fully tiled en-suite shower room. Both bedrooms have flat screen TVs with in-built DVD players and Freeview. The stylish main bathroom has a bath with overhead shower, toilet and wash basin.

The spacious open plan living space offers smart modern accommodation with clean lines. The sitting area is furnished with inviting leather sofas, ideal for collapsing into after a day on the beach, enjoying a glass of wine in front of the large flat screen TV with Freeview HD and Blue Ray DVD. When the sun goes down, you can just let your mind relax, gazing at the flickering flames in the logburner. The dining area alongside has a table seating 4 and the windows look out onto the beach. The kitchen area is fully equipped with electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave oven, fridge freezer, washer/dryer and dishwasher.

Very comfortable and clean. Everything you need to make your holiday a good one. If you love walking the coastal paths well this property is perfect start. You can walk along the path to Mwnt where you can watch the dolphins play.

“Fantastic apartment with the beach as your front garden”

We had a fantastic stay at the Penny Black, which started with Sam and Geoff's great welcome on the Saturday afternoon and continued right through the week. The location, next to the dog friendly beach at Aberporth, was perfect for us as we were staying with our black labrador. The apartment itself is very well appointed, the showers were fantastic and it was a pleasure to return to at the end of a busy day on the beach. The weather can be unpredicable in the area, but being so close to the beach meant we were able to have a leisurely breakfast and then get onto the sand at a moments notice. Aberporth itself, is a small village with a few shops and restaurants within easy walking distance as well as a pub nextdoor to the apartments. We found the apartment was so comfortable, that we tended to stay in most evenings rather than eat or drink out, but it was nice to have the option. We heartily recommend the Penny Black to anyone considering it.

“Beautiful apartment.”

We stayed at the Penny Black for a short break. It was a lovely apartment, beautifully presented and maintained. Everything had been thought of. Comfortable and warm. Ideal location, pub, cafe and fish&chip shop next door, beach over the road and coastal path, what more do you need. If I was going to holiday in Aberporth again, I wouldn`t think of staying anywhere else. Diane and John

In no particular order: Fantastic kid friendly beach Dolphins watching the 'Jamaican's' win the annual raft race light pollution-free night sky pub so close I can smell the beer excellent indian restaurant! And the flat was nice too... Are you not tempted?
