If you're seeking the comfort of a boutique hotel with the convenience of a come-and-go-as-you-please private residence, then Awel Môr luxury apartments on Aberystwyth sea front is your ideal place to stay. The apartment sleeps up to four guests and is ideal for business travellers, couples, or families.

You will love this holiday apartment for its enviable sea views, light interior, and unique sea front location from which the whole of the bay can be seen. It is just a few steps away from the beach and a few minutes walk into the town centre. This position of being in easy distance of the town's vibrancy, beach, castle and the mesmerising views will make for an unforgettable holiday.

Great care has been taken in ensuring you have a comfortable stay.

The apartment décor is calming Farrow and Ball colours, Ralph Lauren wallpaper and features artwork by local artist Karen Pearce. There is a spacious open plan living room and kitchen, which is fully equipped for your needs. Furnished with a large leather sofa which doubles as a sofa bed, arm chair, coffee tables, oak dining table and chairs, LCD TV with Freeview, DVD player and radio/mp3 player. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge/freezer, electric oven and ceramic hob, crockery, cutlery and cooking equipment. The bedroom is situated to the rear and overlooks the court yard. We provide luxury Egyptian cotton bed linen, cotton towels and bathrobes. The apartment comfortably sleeps up to four guests, with a double bed in the bedroom, and sofa bed in the living room. There is secondary double-glazing which keeps the apartment toasty in the winter.

Awel Môr 3 is situated on the first floor of No.9 Marine Terrace, formerly a Victorian town house and later home to Aberystwyth University ‘John Williams' Halls. The apartment is modern yet retains some Victorian features. It has 4 stars, graded by Visit Wales and we are delighted to be featured in ‘The Rare Hideaways Guide'.

On clear sunny days you can see some of the beauty of North Wales as it juts out to sea on the Llyn Peninsula with Bardsey Island nestling at the tip. You may even catch a glimpse of bottle-nosed dolphins or seals as they play amongst the shimmering waves or nearby at Castle point and South beach. The breath-taking Starling murmurations can be seen between in the early evening at the end of October and early March as they swoop over the sea and roost under the Victorian Pier a few hundred meters from the apartments. There are spectacular sunsets to be seen all year round too!

“Comfortable and homey place”

The location was excellent right on the promenade and everything was within walking distance. The hamper was very much appreciated. We actually enjoyed preparing some meals inside because everything was so clean and the kitchen well equipped and spacious. Looking for the keys following the detailed instructions Rhiannon sent us was fun!
