The apartment is in a wonderful location, and we couldn't have asked for faster responses from Andre. We have already recommended the apartment to several friends, and we would stay here again in the future when back for training. Thank you for an excellent 6 weeks. This was WAY better than staying in other corporate housing." Amanda N. (September 2014) "It has been a very pleasant experience; there have really been no problems or issues and Andre has been very responsive and helpful." Audrey K. (July 2014)"Excellent. All was as promised." Kathy W. (June 2014)"The experience was great. Thank you.Andre was every time ready to resolve little problems like parking or swimming pool pass. You are great and I will suggest our company to all my friends. Thanks thanks thanks. " Massimo M. (May 2014)"We stayed for three months! We had a very enjoyable stay at the apartment. I think it's best features are the T.V.+Tivo, the washer and dryer, and a great neighborhood. Andre was always trying to improve our stay and answered our concerns promptly. It worked perfectly for three people and the bus/metro location is convenient enough." Hannah B. (March 2014)"I loved living here! It was a very comfortable stay in a very nice location in Shirlington, next to a very convenient Metrobus stop. Nothing's more convenient than a 20-second walk to a bus stop. A group of three of us was in urgent need of a place that could accommodate all of us, and we were absolutely lucky when we found this furnished apartment. As there were three of us, Andre was more than open to refurnishing the loft into a practical third bedroom. And it worked out perfectly! Although the apartment may look like it has just two bedrooms, it can accommodate three people just fine! Andre was both responsible and responsive - responding to communication swiftly and accommodating repair requests without trouble. All in all, I could not have asked for a more hospitable landlord. I will definitely have memories of this place!" Gabriel I. (March 2014)"I have used temporary housing all over the world, but Shirlington Stay has been my best experience, to date. I needed to find housing quickly and Andre, the property manager, bent over backwards to accommodate my every need. The property was spacious, immaculately clean and state-of-the-art (while still maintaining its WWII Era charm)...very comfortable! The location was perfect, as I needed quick and easy access to northern Virginia, downtown DC and southern Maryland. I didn't need to use the trains or buses, but knew that if I did, they were all within walking distance...a conveniently centralized place to stay! Additionally, the neighborhood was beautifully lined with trees, kept clean and felt extremely safe. I would feel perfectly secure having my mother stay there by herself. In all, this was a GREAT option for housing at a very fair price – and I definitely plan on staying there again the next time I visit the Washington, DC area." Christian M. (October 2013)"This was a wonderful find for me. I dropped a pending Oakwood contract due to a number of factors that made Shirlington Stay more appealing. One is that they were upfront with the terms and cost (Oakwood was not and could not give a good outline of the application process or guarantee a specific apartment); the location appealed to me; the price was great for temporary housing and the appeal of working with a smaller local business were all draws for me. The experience has been wonderful. Responsive management that fixed items from previous tenants right away, clean/stylish place with full amenities, and an easy check in/check out process. The Shirlington Stay is really spacious, and felt like home." P.M. (September 2013)"We enjoyed living in Shirlington. It's a great community, close to shopping and public transportation. We were very comfortable in our condo - it was nicely furnished and had everything we needed. Also, the management was highly responsive." Tammy R. (August 2013)"Awesome!!!! Made our vacation pleasant and enjoyable. Andre was the greatest! He was very hospitable, friendly, and very informative. From the time we first saw the property on the internet all the way until we left, Andre went way beyond regular service to make this stay a success. I felt like we were staying at a friend's apartment versus just another rental place. Definitely a 11 on a scale from 1 to 10! Location, price, and suitability are what makes this a great place to stay. Service can't be matched anywhere when it comes to Andre! THANKS!!" Steve P. (March 2013)"Such a positive, yet professional experience that made me feel like I was at a home away from home. Kudos!" Kenny K. (October 2012)"The shuttle was pretty easy to figure out. There is a stop, literally, right outside the front door. I'd share the Next Bus link that I use at home and on my iPhone to see when the next bus is coming.7Y and 7E primarily run during work hours, with 7Y being most regular7A and 7F primarily run after working hoursAll lines go to/from the Pentagon in about 10 minutes. Super convenient!" Brian M. (March 2012)TripAdvisor property ID 2088279...Read more
