This detached log cabin is on the outskirts of Aviemore in Scotland and sleeps five people in two bedrooms.Strathavon Chalet is a detached log cabin on the outskirts of Aviemore in Scotland. The cabin sleeps five people in two bedrooms which are made up of a twin room and a family room with a double and a single bed. There is also a ground floor shower room, a kitchen with a dining area, and a first floor sitting room with an electric fire and a balcony with furniture. Outside there is roadside parking available for one car and shared use of a lawned garden. Strathavon Chalet is in an ideal location for families or friends wanting to get out and about and enjoy walking in this spectacular area.
Amenities: Electric night storage heaters with electric fires. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, DVD, CD/radio, WiFi. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Roadside parking beside chalet for one car. Balcony with furniture. Shared lawned garden with furniture. Two well-behaved pets welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 5 mins walk. Note: Property has a balcony, children to be supervised. Note: Sloping ceilings in twin room and sitting room. Note: Working railway line next to property, heavier trains run at 7:45am and 9:30pm with lighter trains throughout the day, some associated noise will be heard.
Region: From the lush green farmlands of the Borders to the ruggedness of the Highlands, the Scots are proud of their land and identity. Scotland also has some of Britains best beaches with glorious stretches of clean sand over which to roam.
Town: Situated in the heart of the Scottish Highlands and in the Cairngorms National Park, Aviemore is an ideal holiday location. The area offers good fishing, superb walking in the surrounding hills and woodland, and golfing on the many fine courses in the area. There is also sailing, riding and birdwatching, with rare species to be found including Ospreys and Capercaillie. You will find Aviemore an ideal base for touring the Highlands and nearby Grampians.
