“Amazing Stay!”
Me and boyfriend really enjoyed our stay at Beudy Mawr. The cottage was lovely and spacious and the views surrounding were incredible. Greeted on arrival by very friendly hosts, of course the wonderful Snoopy the dog and homemade fresh bread which was delicious! Luckily we had incredible weather so we was lucky enough to go out on a few days out around surrounding areas...penrhyn castle, waterfall, pier. It feels like you are in the middle of nowhere but that is what we loved, complete seclusion from the real world. The hot tub was amazing and surrounded by the beautiful scenery especially during sunset. My least favourite bit was the steep hill up to the cottage in my little car, but it got easier the more I did it. We would definitely return and definitely highly recommend anybody to stay here. It was a great little holiday so many thanks to our hosts. :)

“Excellent”
Had a fantastic stay, location was just what we wanted - very peaceful but not too far from all the attractions we wanted to visit. Owners are friendly and not intrusive. We even had freshly baked bread when we arrived, and as it was late they also provided some butter and eggs which was really appreciated. The cottage was beautiful and thoughtfully laid out, you have everything you need. It was so quiet I've never slept so well. Hot tub was amazing, you can see all of the stars at night and it's enclosed so you have privacy. It was missing a good view from the hot tub, shame you can't see over the surrounding fields from the tub, but you can see the sunset. Great base for walks and surprisingly easy to find the location using Google maps if you're driving. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Response from the owner We are very pleased that the cottage was lovely & clean..and that the home baked bread & fresh eggs were also pleasing. We try to keep the cottages as clean as possible throughout the stay (Hence "serviced accommodation"..) emptying bins etc..& generally tidying up ( even hoovering dog hairs). When you booked the cottage, we discussed at great length the usual problems with leaving pet dogs unattended. We agreed that you could leave your golden retriever( labrador) for a few hours so that you could all go to the attraction that you booked..leaving me in charge of your dog so that if he did bark..i would be able to put him outside to roam & take his mind off being left alone. This happens to many dogs, including my own,..' very well behaved quiet dog.' 3 minutes after you left..he started barking repeatedly..and it was a ' cry for help' bark. As you pointed out, we had other new guests staying in the adjoining cottage & were still in bed..so i decided to open up & give him some reassurance. Unfortunately this did not work ..I then decided to leave the cottage door open ..which did somewhat calm him down. I then returned to try to close the door & he became very growly so decided i was not going to get injured. The farm is very secure & extremely safe so he was not in any danger..and as it was discussed with yourself..i did the only thing possible in this circumstance. REF : LIST OF "DONT'S" we can only follow guide lines by trading standards ..but at the same time, keeping rules to the minimum. Spa regs instructions is very important. Not using bleach etc is also vital to the running of the treatment plant. The gaff about supervising the use of the solarium was a joke..we were being friendly, but was obviously misinterpreted. The gym is open 24/7 & is shared by both cottages...only locked if other guests want privacy ..showering etc...Normally it is used separately as it's not a big room. We are always looking for ways to improve ..i think the best way forward is not to accept pets..which we have now put in place. It's a shame as most dogs, including yours, was lovely..& we were delighted to have him here.

Response from the owner Thank you for your lovely review..snoopy is a lovely dog! As far as tidying up..its only because we have to sort the rubbish out and make sure you have clean bins ..& check if you need clean towels etc..otherwise we leave well alone. It was lovely to meet you all and so glad you enjoyed all the facilities that we offer.. We do hope you visit us again..Kindest regards Ll Foster
