A modern holiday home in the popular seaside town of Benllech on Anglesey, Wavecrest is the ideal self catering holiday home for both families and couples. The property has recently undergone improvements works and now offers 2 bedrooms in the converted loft space providing great views across Benllech Bay. It is decorated and furnished to a high standard throughout, and can comfortably accommodate up to eight people.

Within easy walking distance are all the shops, bars and restaurants that Benllech has to offer and the beautiful blue flag awarded sandy beach that stretches round to Red Wharf Bay. There is a large front garden with sea views, a driveway with parking for 3 cars and a large enclosed private rear garden with a large patio area with patio furniture and a barbecue.

Located in the heart of Benllech, it is ideally placed to explore the rest of Anglesey and is only a short drive back to the mainland to enjoy everything that North Wales has to offer.

“Lovely Stay in Benllech - too short”

Lovely house, plenty of room, there was 5 of us. Very comfy beds. Quiet location. Short walk to lovely beach, and short walk to shops with everything you need. & lovely bakery. We visited Sunday to Wed, and most restaurants in the village were closed Monday to Wednesday which was a shame but we had a lovely meal at the Tavern. Great house for self catering so we did that instead, there are other eating places in other villages but no where to walk to early in the week. Did a lovely coastal walk from Benllech to Moelfre where there is a fab fish and chip place. The pier house in Beaumaris did fab food and very friendly. We also did the rib ride from Menai Bridge which we would highly recommend. Must book a longer stay next time.

“Brilliant house in excellent location”

This house was absolutely perfect for our family holiday with more than enough room for four adults and two kids (including a teenager). The house was lovely and clean when we arrived and the owner, Andrew, even left a complimentary bottle of wine to help us settle in which was greatly appreciated. There are four generously sized bedrooms with very comfortable beds; the ground floor king size has its own en-suite while the ground floor twin has access to the large and modern family bathroom across the hall. Everyone was also kindly supplied with plenty of towels and the bed linen was lovely and fresh. The attic conversion houses another king size bedroom as well as a large twin room with attached toilet room. There is also a bright and comfortable lounge area in the attic with its own large TV which is perfect for teenagers or grandparents looking for a little peace and quiet. Guests do need to bear in mind that the attic rooms' roof lines are quite low so very tall people like myself need to be on your guard against head bumps! There are, however, plenty of windows so the whole area feels very light and airy. The main downstairs lounge is large enough for the whole family with a comfy leather suite and large TV with catch up and Netflix. The rest of the ground floor features a well-stocked kitchen with plenty of storage room, an electric hob/oven, dishwasher and a large family fridge/freezer. The is also a bright and spacious dining room overlooking the garden with a large table and plenty of seating. The big and sheltered square garden is perfect for small children or pets as it is fully enclosed and there is a useful exterior utility room with washing machine and storage for beach essentials. There is parking on the driveway for two cars (three at a push) and the front garden is nice and welcoming. The location is quiet, even though Bangor Road is only around thirty metres away and there are good blackout blinds on the attic windows, so sleep is not disturbed. Benllech village centre is only a five minute stroll away and there are local shops including a large Co-Op, Spar and Tesco Express, as well as a great local butcher. There are also several small coffee shops and a couple of lovely ice cream parlours. The beach is a ten minute walk away but it is down a fairly steep hill so anyone struggling with their mobility - or just not feeling fit enough for the climb back up - would be better taking the car and parking in the large beach-front car park or the quieter one further up Bay View Road, both of which make reasonable pay & display charges. The beach itself is huge (except at high tide when only around a quarter of it is accessible from the main promenade) and there is a good portion where dogs can be let off the lead. All in all, this was by far the best house we have stayed in and we would highly recommend Wavecrest, Benllech and Anglesey itself, as an excellent family holiday destination. Many thanks must go to Andrew for doing everything possible to make our stay so memorable (even though my memory failed me - it wasn't until we were half way home that I remembered I had left a kitchen cupboard full of cakes, biscuits and chocolate so whoever came after us got a treat!).

“Wavecrest Benllech”

We had a wonderful stay at Wavecrest in Benllech last weekend. There was 6 Adults and 2 children (8&3) the house accommodated all of us perfectly, there was more than enough room for us all and perfectly set up for children too. It was a 10minute walk to the beach and 5minute walk to the shops. Extremely clean and we felt very safe with all the extra hand wash and disinfectant available all over the house. Its a perfect location and we can’t wait to book again!

“Beautiful family accommodation in a beautiful area.”

Booked for party of 7, the accommodation was spotless, and finished to a high spec. 2 double rooms on the ground floor, one with en-suite, 2 further large rooms in loft conversion. The gardens were also very large and beautifully kept. We were also able to bring out dogs. The accommodation had everything we needed during our stay, also left us with a complimentary bottle of wine. We were also a few minutes walk to all local amenities, this was also very good value for money. Hope to return soon .
