“Love to stay there again” Our host, Michelle, was super sweet. The area was safe, this is in the Hotel Zone, and well lit. The condo is in a hotel. Part of the building is set up as a full functioning hotel and the rest seems to be residential apartments. It added to a clam and quiet stay. Michelle's add was accurate. She mentions that the WiFi is not that great and this is accurate. The condo had everything we needed to cook. We went to the market for supplies and saved a lot of money. Peter, Michelle's husband, provided us with a map of our area, places to shop, eat and party. They provided bath towels and beach towels. We had fresh clean water, which we got from the Hotel shop for 48 pesos. It lasted us all 9 days. The pool area is there, but we only stayed on the beach. The Hotel staff will not be helpful and we always went to Michelle and Peter for any questions we had. They are your front desk. The air conditioning in this unit was great. Our view was amazing. I could not believe our view. We picked up a rental car to drive around and parking at the hotel was a breeze. We were told the restaurant of the Hotel and the pool bar were horrible so we stayed away. But the hotel shop was great. In the shop they had chips, cookies, souvenirs and cold drinks. The bus (R-1 and R-2) was easy to find and easy to figure out. The room was clean. The balcony was large and a nice way to enjoy the view in the evening and in the morning when the sun is rising. We did not turn on the TV because we had so much to do. I would love to stay here again. Karina Gonzalez. California

“Absolutely Wonderful & Perfect!” I would most definitely recommend Casa Frida to anyone looking for a place to stay in Merida!My husband and I felt like Katia and her mother, Patricia, went the extra mile to meet our every need. They made my family feel at home and welcome throughout our entire stay. The house was clean, beautiful and cozy! They provide you with cookware, utensils, etc. which made my stay with 2 children a lot easier!! The aC kept us nice and cool throughout our stay, as well as the gorgeous pool in the patio. The temperature of the water was perfect, and laying in the hammock was very relaxing. The neighborhood was friendly, safe and peaceful. There are many restaurants and stores close by, as well as the Centro Historico. I would absolutely recommend Casa Frida to anyone that is looking for a vacation rental! Whether it be for a family or a couple, you can't go wrong with this beautiful house. Thanks again Katia and Patricia for making our stay a very special one! “Awesome experience” We had a wonderful time at the condo. The service and the staff there is excellent and the condo is very luxurious. We enjoyed every moment and took advantage to take a dip in the ocean every morning. It's so great, that the beach is only steps away. “Excellent Condo!” The place is wonderful, if you are looking for a place in playa del carmen, this is the place. Everything is just around the corner ... few steps from the beach, 5th street, 10 minutes from cozumel ferry, parking lots (if you are driving), etc etc .... The apartment is spacious, clean, beds very comfortable, very nice kitchen, etc ... the wifi is good. it is an excellent place to stay. Me and my family had a wonderful time. Thank you!

“AMAZING VIEW” Awesome view, my husband and I traveled with our 3 girls. They loved the pool, and the easy access to the beach. The size of the place was perfect for us. Michelle, the owner always answered all our questions promptly, and gave us some good recommendations.

“Luxury Condo - perfect location!” I stayed here for 1 week and enjoyed it so much! The location is in the heart of the hotel zone and super close to the 2 best malls available in Cancun. On top of this, the beach is more private than the other establishments along the hotel zone. My family and I mostly went to the pool everyd ay and got snacks and pina colada's at the pool bar. The food and drinks are reasonably priced and delicious. As for the actual condo - it was truly everything the seller described it as. No gimmicks or false photos here - it was the real deal and beautiful (which was such a relief)! Believe me - I can be super picky, but this place lived up to and exceeded my expectations. This is the only place I will stay at again in Cancun :)

“Excellent villa - Pool to yourself!” I and 5 friends stayed here for a week from June 1st. The villa is fantastic - I was lucky enough to get the Master Suite which is a fantastic size, had two wardrobes, an en suite, a fantastic huge bed and of course, Air Conditioning. The other rooms were also a good size with air Conditioning as well. The pool is fantastic as we found out from Daniel that only 2 of the villas in the complex are rentals so you pretty much have the pool to yourselves all day - it was because of this that we hardly went to the beach! The villa is in a fantastic location for the beach and had a convenience store and a pharmacy just outside the complex. The complex itself is literally opposite to the entrance to Secrets - The Vine hotel which can be seen from anywhere in Cancun. A short walk takes you to a mall and a fantastic Mexican Grill Would recommend this to anyone considering it. Daniel is always available on email and was very friendly at all times. He was able to recommend nearby restaurants and bars and nothing was too much trouble. He was there to meet us when we arrived at the Villa and the Security Guys based at the entrance to the complex were able to arrange taxis and also hold the keys for us when the group went to different attractions. I can't recommend this enough

“Location, Comfort & Style in Playa Del Carmen!” This incredibly spacious condominium rental is worth every penny and more! The location is fabulous, right on the beach and a short walk to 5th ave. and the Cozumel Ferry. The unit is decorated with a style like no other I've seen in rentals in the area, with a charming Mexican theme throughout and an abundance of unique decor. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable, another rarity! The kitchen is gourmet and modern and so much fun to cook in! My favorite part is the huge balcony overlooking the Caribbean Sea and the beautiful pool area. This is by far my favorite place to stay in Playa and I feel right at home every time I'm in this unit.

“Great location for awesome beach vacation!” We were so impressed with the friendliness and helpfulness of staff at Sunset Fishermen's and especially a huge thank you to Sergio. He was wonderful! The facilities were obviously cared for with pride - everything was clean and properly looked after. Having the pool, lounge, chairs, restaurant and beach all in such close proximity was truly delightful. Leisurely strolls to 5th Ave were possible every evening. Would definitely return to this lovely place next time we are in the area.

“A little slice of Heaven” This was our third time at Chac Hal al and we love it!! We love the unit we stay in, it's roomy, steps from the beach, we feel very much at home here. There is some work that need to be done on the unit itself. The bathroom in the master bath needs to be painted and the shower leaks...a lot! The sliding glass door in the living room is very hard to open. However, we will return next year and hopefully for 2 weeks. We pray every year that it's as calm and quiet as the last time we were there. This is our little slice of Heaven!
