“Very Good Time” We have many great things to say about this house. We also have great things to say about the staff. Victor is wonderful. He is quick to address any concern...and help with anything you may need. First class. The housekeepers were wonderful. They were very kind and interactive. The only reason that I do not give 5 stars is that I had an air conditioner in one of the rooms go out two separate times. They were quick to address it however. Also there were never enough washcloths. We will not hesitate to go back.

“Huge, comfortable, relaxing” The villa was even bigger than I thought it was from pictures. Everyone had their own room, and was quite comfortable. The kitchen was large and accommodating. The pool area was beautiful and relaxing with a large patio, plenty of seating and the BBQ was a great addition. My only complaints were that the cable was out on the TV (not a big deal, as we weren't there to watch TV anyway), we ran out of drinkable water on our first night there and had to buy our own, and the maid was a bit snoopy when organizing our belongings (she never stole anything, but she touched and rearranged all of our personal items, and seemed to hide some of our items in strange places. Maybe hoping we wouldn't find them?) The location is in a quiet residential area, about a 30-45 minute walk from downtown; a bit farther than I would have liked, but it's a few blocks away from a large grocery store. Overall this is a great rental property. It is considerably cheaper than most other rental options of the same size on the island. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a large private villa in Cozumel.

“Relaxing Turtle Haven” Perfect! Lots of room, centrally located, perfectly secure with multiple security guards who took great care of our kids and showed them turtles at night. Turtles and eggs everywhere. Beautiful yard and pool with lots of great activities.

“Great Vacation at Villa Ka Kuxta” Villa Ka Kukta was a little paradise for all my family 5 adults and 7 children.We all had a wonderful time. Akumal is a wonderful place to stay, the villa is in a secluded location and we really appreciated that. Akumal Playa and Village are very nice, we enjoyed the restaurants and the boutiques there. It is easy to visit some of the Maya sites: we went to Tulum, Koba and Chichen Itza. We enjoyed Christmas Mass in Chemuyil, people there were very friendly, in fact all mexicans are really very nice. The management and staff at the villa were perfect, they cooked nice dinners for us and did everything they could to make our stay pleasurable. We were sad to leave and sorry we could not stay longer (the trip from France is quite long and tiresome, but my son and son-in-law had to go back to work, a week is too short...) All of us will keep wonderful memories of this awsome place and we wish you a great 2103.

“Loved it all!” My family and I had a wonderful time on our vacation this summer, and the main reason is because of where we stayed! Everthing was fantastic! We truly enjoyed the house, the location, the yard with the pool, and the proximity to the beach. We felt very safe and taken care off by your great staff and highly recommend renting from Abbey del Sol!

“Absolutely Wonderful & Perfect!” I would most definitely recommend Casa Frida to anyone looking for a place to stay in Merida!My husband and I felt like Katia and her mother, Patricia, went the extra mile to meet our every need. They made my family feel at home and welcome throughout our entire stay. The house was clean, beautiful and cozy! They provide you with cookware, utensils, etc. which made my stay with 2 children a lot easier!! The aC kept us nice and cool throughout our stay, as well as the gorgeous pool in the patio. The temperature of the water was perfect, and laying in the hammock was very relaxing. The neighborhood was friendly, safe and peaceful. There are many restaurants and stores close by, as well as the Centro Historico. I would absolutely recommend Casa Frida to anyone that is looking for a vacation rental! Whether it be for a family or a couple, you can't go wrong with this beautiful house. Thanks again Katia and Patricia for making our stay a very special one! “Private Paradise” Our large family chose Casa La Via and loved it. The villa is outstanding and the owners have equipped it with everything you could possibly need. The personal touches were very much appreciated. It is a beautiful and spacious home and while the photos show you exactly what you get, they cannot fully depict how wonderful it is. The pool and patio/deck were our favorite place to spend time, although family dinners around the large dining table were pretty special too. We used the snorkeling equipment at the nearby lagoon for some private snorkeling (not like the hoards at Akumal) and were happy to have the bikes and golf cart for use in the community as well. We didn’t rent a vehicle, but taxis were easy to obtain so we could visit beaches or attractions that are close by. Also, lots of tours include transportation. Victor, the groundskeeper, kindly drove us to the main gate in the golf cart when required. The owners have created a binder of information on everything from using equipment in the villa to the best beaches, attractions and restaurants to visit. It is very comprehensive and a valuable tool to use during your stay. While we didn't deal directly with the owners, the rental agency was excellent to work with and answered all questions within a day and often the same day. . Wilma and Victor were so friendly and kept the villa and grounds immaculate. We had Wilma cook us a meal one evening and it was great. Loved the Lime soup! We have already recommended La Via to friends.

“Akumal Villas and Los Primos” Superb stay as usual per repeat customers. Rhett the administrator and his assistant Maria made our arranngements smooth and relaxing from the first day through the last day. The housekeeper Getty and her husband Pedro were friendly and efficient. We will naturally be back.

“A Fabulous Vacation Home” Villa Iguana was a wonderful house. The caretakers, Claudia and Myner were the perfect host going well beyond the expected to make our stay unforgettable. Claudia is an amazing cook. Soliman Bay is the perfect place to stay especially if you enjoy snorkeling. You can just walk into the water and you are swimming with Loggerhead turtles and lots of fish. There were several kayaks to use and tie onto a buoy to snorkle on the plentiful reefs. Perfect!

“Laid back.” Beautiful view. Easy beach entry into the bay. Nice pool and two large covered verandahs. Comfortable and quiet. Super staff in Elyssia and Francisco.

“A Wonderful Family Christmas At the Casa Mae in Puerto Morelos” The Casa Mae provided all the amenities we required for our family of 9 which included the private pool, well equipped kitchen and lots of space for all. The free bike usage and small library was greatly appreciated. I would highly recommend staying at the Abby Del Sol. properties

“Casa Mulder” We loved Puerto Morelos, found the staff @Abbey Del Sol very professional and attentive. We give the staff 5 stars. Casa Mulder could use some attention. Dishwasher never worked and was not repairable although the staff tried. Furniture was not especially comfortable and the kitchen did not have a skillet that was non stick. Beds were comfortable showers had issues such as no hot water until the staff addressed. Property is for sale and it appears to be in need of some upgrades. Overall we enjoyed our stay and found the village shopes, restaurants and people to be very friendly, a pleasure to visit. The reef is pristine and well worth taking one of the local guides for a visit. We used Wet Set and found them very friendly and helpful. Our favorite place to eat was John Greys Kitchen. We enjoyed several local restaurants, however John Greys was several cuts above the rest. We will return to Puerto Morelos and stay with Abbey Del Sol but probably use one of the other properties.
