“Honeymoon in Dreamsicle” My husband and I stayed at Maya Beach Hotel in the Lower Dreamsicle House for our Honeymoon in May. Our experience with Maya Beach Hotel and the staff was outstanding. Our "house" was clean, and private, with beautiful views of the ocean and just steps away from the restaurant. It was so nice to sit on the lower porch and enjoy our coffee and breakfast each morning, and enjoy a cool beverage while sitting on the beach with our feet keeping us cool in the ocean waves. When we wanted to explore the area or take adventures, Ellen and her staff were so helpful and knowledgeable. Martin was always willing to give us our options for activities and help us coordinate our adventures. Without their help and recommendations, we wouldn't have been able to experience the local favorite hot spots or organize our adventures with ease. It was so nice that they coordinated someone to pick us up and drop us off at the airport for our arrival and departure. You can tell they really enjoy what they do, and their passion is unmatched. When we come back to Belize we will definitely stay at Maya Beach Hotel and we recommend it to anyone looking for a beach front relaxing vacation!

“Loved it all!” My family and I had a wonderful time on our vacation this summer, and the main reason is because of where we stayed! Everthing was fantastic! “Great Vacation at Villa Ka Kuxta” Villa Ka Kukta was a little paradise for all my family 5 adults and 7 children.We all had a wonderful time. Akumal is a wonderful place to stay, the villa is in a secluded location and we really appreciated that. Akumal Playa and Village are very nice, we enjoyed the restaurants and the boutiques there. It is easy to visit some of the Maya sites: we went to Tulum, Koba and Chichen Itza. We enjoyed Christmas Mass in Chemuyil, people there were very friendly, in fact all mexicans are really very nice. The management and staff at the villa were perfect, they cooked nice dinners for us and did everything they could to make our stay pleasurable. We were sad to leave and sorry we could not stay longer (the trip from France is quite long and tiresome, but my son and son-in-law had to go back to work, a week is too short...) All of us will keep wonderful memories of this awsome place and we wish you a great 2103.

“Relaxing Turtle Haven” Perfect! Lots of room, centrally located, perfectly secure with multiple security guards who took great care of our kids and showed them turtles at night. Turtles and eggs everywhere. Beautiful yard and pool with lots of great activities.

“Very Good Time” We have many great things to say about this house. We also have great things to say about the staff. Victor is wonderful. He is quick to address any concern...and help with anything you may need. First class. The housekeepers were wonderful. They were very kind and interactive. The only reason that I do not give 5 stars is that I had an air conditioner in one of the rooms go out two separate times. They were quick to address it however. Also there were never enough washcloths. We will not hesitate to go back.

“Huge, comfortable, relaxing” The villa was even bigger than I thought it was from pictures. Everyone had their own room, and was quite comfortable. The kitchen was large and accommodating. The pool area was beautiful and relaxing with a large patio, plenty of seating and the BBQ was a great addition. My only complaints were that the cable was out on the TV (not a big deal, as we weren't there to watch TV anyway), we ran out of drinkable water on our first night there and had to buy our own, and the maid was a bit snoopy when organizing our belongings (she never stole anything, but she touched and rearranged all of our personal items, and seemed to hide some of our items in strange places. Maybe hoping we wouldn't find them?) The location is in a quiet residential area, about a 30-45 minute walk from downtown; a bit farther than I would have liked, but it's a few blocks away from a large grocery store. Overall this is a great rental property. It is considerably cheaper than most other rental options of the same size on the island. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a large private villa in Cozumel.

“Knutson family.” We stayed over Christmas for a week! Enough beds for all 12 of us, one of the upstairs beds was like a rock! All enjoyed the pool, patio table looking over the ocean, where we gathered each morning. Kitchen was not easy to cook in, very small, not handy at all! Appreciated all the purified water, we drank. Maids came every day and did a great job! The villa is very old, wish we would have rented a newer and more updated villa.
