“We felt like the rich and famous!!! - What a dream place to stay” Well what can i say - I loved every minute of this place. Everything about Kulraya Villas is 5 star! * The house and view, the pool is absolutely stunning. * Bedrooms are beautiful - one looks over the pool and the other over the garden/hills * Two bathrooms which are both clean and to a high standard * Beds are huge - queen in one room and king in the other. Or a king and a XL king * The place is immaculate - you just call them when you want the room cleaned * The breakfasts are delicious - choice of continental or cooked * The food (if ordered) is well priced compared to hotels and is delivered to the villa promptly and is delicious. * The location is beautiful - perched up in the hills * There's a fully equip kitchen so great for families as well as a washing machine. * I could keep going on for ever as i loved so much about this place. The only thing i could say against the location is that you really need your own transport. ie car or motor bike. This isn't even really a problem as Ian and Luk can organise this for you at a good rate or just get one from the many places in town. We got a bike for 200 Baht a day! The beaches are lovely. The closest one is about a 3-4 min drive away with white sand and crystal blue water. Other surrounding beaches we loved was Relax Bay which was great for kids as its a small beach so you could always see the kids and the water is shallow. I want to go back there and have told all my friends about it.

“Peaceful jungle hideaway” Villa Damee is remote enough to feel like you are in a slice of your own private jungle heaven, yet is still an easy drive to the attractions of Ubud. You have to walk across a little path over the rice paddies to get to the villa, which is so pretty and quite good fun! The villa itself is architecturally impressive and interesting. The furniture and interior design is interesting and beautiful. The house has two double bedrooms so ideal for our party (two couples). The kitchen and dining areas are spacious and fun for partying in. The bathrooms are semi-open so only come here if you are OK with the occasional bug! The pool gets a lot of shade - because the property is almost hewn into the hillside underneath the rice paddies, hence it is totally surrounded by luscious greenery. Bird-watching and simply sitting in silence and enjoying the peace was blissful. You can occasionally hear the neighbourhood gamelan practice in the evenings. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful - Ketut, Wayan and the rest of the team - thank you! Also the owners were very helpful and polite and accommodating during the booking process. I think, if I had just one area to be hypercritical, the food could be SLIGHTLY improved. But it's still great for the price and it's lovely to have the staff prepare your meals as you relax by the pool. We enjoyed massages and fresh coconuts all at our leisure at home. Overall it was also very good value. Definitely recommended!

“Your own piece of Paradise and truly amazing place to stay” Villa Maju was truly amazing. This was my first time travelling from Melbourne to Bali to attend my Daughters Wedding and I was very anxious about going. After several telephone conversations and reassurance from the owner Mary who lives in Sydney I am so glad I booked this Villa. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left the wonderful staff treated us like royalty and also welcomed my daughters & partners who also visited the Villa daily as if they were also paying guests. I would like to make a special mention to the staff Wayan, Welan, Tinny, Rai & Mardi (the security man) who went way and above to ensure our stay was one of the most memorable holiday's I have ever had. The respect the staff have for Mary the owner is truly amazing and Mary is very lucky to have such loyal staff to work for her. I would highly recommend to indulge in the Barbecue dinner and the highlight for me was the Teppanyaki which is prepared and cooked by Wayan & Welan who made it such a special night to treasure for ever. I really only left the Villa to attend my Daughters Wedding and to be honest why would you want to leave such a beautiful place anyway. The Villa's facilities were more then you could dream for and the garden was full of beautiful tropical flowers. I would highly recommend Villa Maju to anyone and would like to thank Mary for all your help and you are so lucky to have such a wonderful place to call home.

“Great villa with nice view at sunset in Bali see” We spend 11 nights at villa Mente and enjoyed the luxury of the villa, the pool and it's staff. “A Balinese village getaway, spotlessly clean and well appointed, and a short walk to shops and restaurants.” We stayed at Kupa Kupa Villa for one week in March 2014 and really enjoyed it. It was our first trip to Bali, and we opted for the airport pick up. It was punctual, friendly and good value, and far easier than trying to find our own way. As indicated on the Tripadvisor listing, the paths accessing the villa may not be suitable for the physically challenged, but our 60-something legs didn’t find them a problem. Actually the walks to and from the villa provided an interesting experience of Balinese village life. We stayed in the upper level villa. It was well appointed and spotlessly cleaned daily by the caretakers who also made a good breakfast. All the furniture including the double bed was in top condition. The terrace was a great place to relax and it offered nice rural views. The villa’s pool is small but deep and more than adequate for relief from the heat after a trip out to the many surrounding sights, or a walk up from Candidasa. The warungs, restaurants and shops along the main road and beachfront in Candidasa offer plenty of choice and a range of standards and costs. If we didn’t feel like walking too far, the German/Indonesian café at the bottom of the access stairs provided good meals and snacks. Overall, a great place to stay and relax away from the frenetic life of places like Kuta and Ubud. Good value too. Recommended.

“Definitely great place to stay in north Bali, highly recommended!!!"” Very beautiful villa, with very big swimming pool, with amazing view at sea. Villa was in very calm area. Fantastic place to stay during visit in Bali. Also staf was very helpful and kind, give us info about everything we asked. Maid prepared very good breakfast everyday and when we asked and pay for groceries, they also prepare very tasty lunch or dinner. Villa was maintained in very clean condition. Also in villa is everything you need if you want to prepare meals for yourself. Definitely great place to stay north Bali, highly recommended!!!"

“Stunning piece of Paradise” My husband and I stayed at Kumara Villa in January this year and can't wait to return again to this serene stunning piece of paradise. Words can't truly describe how beautiful this property really is. We couldn't believe that we had this whole property to ourselves for a week, from the infinity pool to the enormous pool pavilion , luscious green grounds and spacious bedrooms. After staying in numerous hotels around the world, this was luxury at the top end. Each room is uniquely decorated using the highest quality fixtures and fittings, ensuring a gorgeous ambiance and so so clean[which is a priority for me!!] We had everything we needed on this very private property and were reluctant to ever leave...but we did now and then to explore the fabulous local attractions. The friendly staff were so very helpful and made us feel so special and spoilt, with Kelum organising all our sightseeing outings and Sunila and amara cooking delicious local dishes for our meals when we required them...I wished I could have moved in permanently!!! After staying at Kumara Villa I doubt if I could ever stay in a hotel again...I,m now just organising our next trip back there soon with another couple...can,t wait...so excited !!!

“A different view of Bali” What can i say about Villa Bayu except MAGNIFICENT. From the booking process to the airport pick up everything was wonderful. When we arrived it only got better. The view and Villa itself were stunning. We have been to bali over 20 times but have never had this experience. The lovely staff made our trip memorable with their kind and caring personality, the ladies even show my daughter and I how to make some Sate, Mmm delicious. Our driver fast became our friend, what a lovely man and expert driver. I simply can't say enough Great things about our stay. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to see the lovely Lovina. Cant wait to book again for October. Cheryl

“Excellent stay, delicious food and outstanding view.” Service is excellent, staff is reliable, helpfull and friendly. The villa is well equiped and comfortable. Location is unique, rural and between locals. The seaside is most beautiful. Sometimes it can be too windy at the veranda.

“Bohemian Hideaway” First off let me say that Boyd is a great host! He answered all of our questions and made the process of renting his Villa super easy. After we arrived he helped us with coordinating car rentals and also gave us tips on where to go. He's been in Bali for so long and knows the island really well. From restaurants to clubs to sightseeing he's a great resource. Second, the location of Villa Bohemia is awesome. It's off the main road but set back enough that you have a very quiet and serene environment. Easy to find and perfect cause it is central to everything. Plus, there is a big 24 hour convenience store within 5 minutes walking distance so you never run out of supplies. Getting a taxi is super easy too, cause the main street is full of them. We went to Kuta for less than 3 dollars. Third, price is great for the value you get. There is a small pool with a waterfall, nice kitchen, beautiful garden and patio area. The bedrooms are spacious and the a/C is cool. Tv is nice and so is the stereo system. Place is super clean and marble floors aren't too shabby! It's really well decorated and feels cozy comfortable and upscale all at the same time. Overall our 1 week stay at Villa Bohemia was wonderful. Thank you Boyd and we had a wonderful trip and

“Absolutely Perfect house” We never had such a perfect house before. The ambiance, design, views, atmosphere, swimmingpool and not to forget the people-service were extremely good. We very much enjoyed every minute of our stay. If going back to Bali, for sure we will stay here again Sten and John
