“Super location” Pros: A great location, less than 20 minutes from Carcassonne and the airport, but in a quiet spot with (distant) views of the Pyrenees. Jenny was very welcoming, and not intrusive. The apartment had everything you might need,including a dishwasher, although perhaps a teapot for English visitors might be nice! The pool was a lovely temperature, and the south facing balcony very pleasant. There is a small shop (Vidal) very close with a friendly chatty couple selling nice wine made in the village, and a Leclerc with petrol station (credit cards) only 15 minutes away. Cons: The metal framed bed was too short for me, so with a bit of rearrangement, we slept on the mattress on the floor. The fridge freezer (like most I suppose) made a lot of noise, so, as a light sleeper, I had to switch it off at night. And as mentioned elsewhere, the wall to the balcony is too high to enjoy the views sat down, but I`m sure that is more to do with Health and Safety! Suggestion for visitors: Our balcony in Apartment 1 had some shelter from the very cool westerly winds in May. If we had been in the other large Apartment (3 I think) with the west facing balcony, we probably would not have been able to sit out so much.
