“CAWV Summer Camp House for the Spencers” We had a wonderful time in Calnaan Valley. We were in the valley for the CAWV Summer camp. The house was great. CAWV is short for Challenged Athletes of West Virginia. The camp that was put on was for Wounded Warriors and their families. We were some of the volunteers helping with the event. Will call you guy next year for this house.

“Moose Lodge at Timberline” This was a very nice house for our group (2 couples & 2 children.) For skiing, the mud room/laundry was very convenient. It was a rather long walk to the ski slopes, however--hard to drag the kids that far in their ski boots! Hot tub was great after a day on the slopes. Beds were comfy. I would have appreciated a better sound system for the living area--I like music more than watching TV.

“Perfect family getaway” We were completely "wowed" from moment one at Foxwood. The house was immaculately clean, smelled fresh, and was equipped with anything we could possibly need. Saying the kitchen is well stocked is a total understatement. The place is nicely decorated and had plenty of room for 3 adults and 2 kids. The deck off the back was one of our favorite hangouts. All of the beds were so comfortable and had plenty of pillows. The private access to Dolly Sods at the top of the community was a definite bonus and we highly recommend checking it out. We are already planning trips back. Foxwood was just what we needed for a nice relaxing 5 night trip. The only negative - and after such a completely lovely trip I didn't want to put a bad thing on here - was the hot tub was quite quirky, only working about 1/4 of the time. Best of Canaan would have sent someone up but we told them it was unnecessary during our stay. Everyone at Best of Canaan was amazingly friendly and helpful with suggesting things to see and do. So happy with our whole experience!

“Wonderful Place to Stay!!!” This cabin was excellent! It has been newly renovated and is absolutely beautiful inside and out. The location was nice, quiet, and just off of Rt. 32. Very easy to get to. Loved the experience. Price was very reasonable! I would happily recommend this cabin to anyone interested in vacationing in this area.

“August 2013 long weekend” The cabin was wonderful. The layout and furnishings were very nice. The photo online of the media room was quiet different than the actual property - room was much smaller than expected. Overall, it was a very nice experience. The only negatives I would mention are due to this being the 5th year we have rented a location for our gathering from Tennessee to Pennsylvania and this is the first time we have encountered these missing items: There was only one extra roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and no spares in the powder room. We did not anticipate purchasing this. There was also only one half-roll of paper towels. There were no large garbage bags or a lid on the garbage can. These are all items that were provided in the previous locations. And the lack of spare towels for the bathrooms was surprising. I did not anticipate having to do laundry repeatedly throughout the weekend.
