“Awesome oceanside accomodations!” We had a wonderful stay in Encinitas at 180 Neptune. It was perfect for our week long getaway. Waking and falling asleep to the sound of the ocean was awesome. Plenty of room, great neighbors, comfy beds, all the amenities of home and a view that can't be beat! We are repeat guests and we will definitely be back!

“Comfort and space in a fantastic location” This was my first visit to this part of California and my first renting in the us over the internet. I spent some time researching, so I had a good idea of what to expect. However the service I got from VR from making the initial reservation to my arrival and the actual facilities, equipment and location of the condo itself far exceeding my expectations. I'd normally spend a few days stocking up with all those things you have in your home but are never there in a vacation rental - I didn't have to buy anything but groceries and replace what we'd used. Absolutely everything you need for a family vacation can be found somewhere in the condo. Moonlight Beach is a stunning location and having direct beach access is a real luxury and the views are stunning. I have so many great memories from surfing with dolphins & pelicans to seeing my first "red tide" and the sunsets from the balcony are just fabulous. On a practical note, it's very quiet and private but only a short stroll from all of the faclilities available in Main Street, Encinitas. I'm going back just as soon as I can!

“Better than we ever dreamed for our anniversary” Celebrating our 20th anniversary here was such a special treat. We have traveled all over for many years and this is one of the best places we've ever stayed. We can't wait to return. Beautifully decorated cottage within walking distance of beach and village. Our hosts thought of everything we could possibly need for our stay. We loved having 2 flat screen Tv's since we don't like the same programs! The size of the cottage was perfect and I was surprised at the nice size of the bathroom and built-in closet space. There is a great desk area for your computer which my husband loved. We have to mention the beautiful artwork - original oils surrounded us throughout the entire cottage. My birthday is in January - maybe...

“Beautiful condo on beach front” The layout of this condo is perfect for a family of 6 or 7. Each room has its private bathroom. Well equipped, beautiful deck with the pool and the jacuzzi. Very clean. Well located between la and Sandiego.

“Old World Charm” Stepping into this home is like stepping back to a time when houses were built with integrity and the promise of all the good that life has to offer. Completely finished in knotty pine, with it's open beam ceilings and gorgeous wood floors, the warm embrace of this home allows you to feel less like you are on vacation, and more like you've "come home". The king sized bed is firm and comfortable, dressed in high quality bedding. There is also a children's nook in the master, furnished with bunk beds to accommodate the grandchildren. Both bathrooms are appointed with high quality fixtures and tiling. From the cabinets to the flooring, the warm woods continue throughout the kitchen and laundry area. The cabinets are well stocked with everything you need for preparing and serving home meals. And, although quite dated, the appliances are all functioning, making this kitchen totally accommodating. The kitchen is flanked by a lovely dining room, overlooking the deck and the ocean view through the picture window. And what about the ocean view from the deck? Simply breathtaking. In fact, you can take in this view from nearly half the house, as it was designed with wall to wall windows. Located just a few steps from Stone Steps, access to the beach could not be more convenient. An easy walk down the block or down the shoreline takes you right to Moonlight beach, while an easy walk east, leads you to Coast Highway and all the shopping and dining Encinitas has to offer.

“Great view of ocean, beach or people watching on the boardwalk!” We are so happy we booked this unit! Great location! Condo was well laid out and we loved how the whole unit opened to the balconry with the collapsing glass doors. We highly recommend this for single person adventurer or romantic couples get away.

“Breathtaking Tennis Estate” This estate is truly amazing. It has had everything I was looking for. I went here with my family and friends. We all had an amazing time. It has something for everyone. My friends and I throughly enjoyed the tennis court. We played so much I think I still have blisters on my feet lol. The tennis court isn't the only thing played on it. The kids loved riding bike, playing catch, basketball, tag, among other games they played. There is also a great playground adjacent to the tennis court in the grass. The kids also loved jumping on the trampoline. This estate also has a pool. It is a great pool just to lounge in or if you have kids there is no deep end which we all liked. No matter where you are this place has amazing views. You have views of the country side along with views overlooking San Diego. We really loved that every night we saw hot air balloons in the sunset sky. Also in the summer months Sea World shoots off fireworks which we could see in the horizon on clear nights. Although there are many restaurants near by. This estate has an amazing gourmet kitchen. There were a few nights we decided to not go out and went to a local grocery store a mile away to pick up food to cook which was very nice. \ Bob is the best host. Not only is he very funny and easy to get along with. He is also very helpful if you ever need anything just text or call him. He is also very knowledgable about things to do, see, restaurants, beaches, shopping, etc. This house is also one level which is good if you have anyone elderly or young children staying with you. This is which the exception of the stairs going down to the pool, tennis court, and playground. Also, there is an apartment above the garage that you need to climb stairs to get to. This apartment is also great. It is a one bedroom with full kitchen, bathroom, and living room. I would recommend this place to anyone. Especially if you love Tennis or have kids.

“We had a wonderful time!” The accomodations were great, other than the very small garage. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone who wants to have a week to do exactly what they want - enjoy the beach, go to tourist attractions, or just kick back, relax and do plenty of reading! The only real negative was the sun not coming out much. But we made the best of things and had a great time anyway.

“This beautiful condo on Mission Beach could not be a more ideal” We continue to go back to the condo on Mission Beach because it is a wonderful location, and the owners and realtors are very friendly and helpful. It is comfortably furnished and has most everything you could possibly need. It is close to public transportation, which we really appreciate and use almost exclusively. The only drawback is the Womens Club across the street when it has functions that can be loud. However, we love the place so much that we just go out to eat at one of the wonderful restaurants or to a movie on those occasions! The friends that come to visit are very impressed with our place.

“Positive Experience with Penny Realty” I have been renting with Penny Realty for 7 years. I use Penny Realty to book my summer vacation house at Mission Beach every year. I have used Penny to book single condos, houses, and an entire 4 unit condo. They are very professional, and accommodating. I have never had any problems with communicating with the agents. Last summer while we were on vacation we called the realty to see if we could get any bug spray because of the fruit flies. Not only did they bring bug spray, they had a maintenance guy literally scrub the trash cans and trash area with cleanser and bleach! We didn't even ask for that. On top of that the maintenance guy wasn't irritated. He wanted us to be happy. The pull out sofa beds could be a little more comfortable, but I think all pull out sofa beds are uncomfortable. I will continue to use Penny Realty for my future summer rentals. I already have Summer 2014 reserved. I have recommended Penny Realty to my Sister, and two of my cousins. They are return clients as well.
