“4th of july vacation” We stayed at your amazing condo, for one week, during july 4th. What a wonderful place to watch the fireworks, top floor, overlooking the island, the beach club, the ocean... The condo is so big, we had a chef cook for us twice during our stay, we had plenty of room for all of us and a couple staying at Veranda. The view from both balconies is stunning and it's a perfect place for relaxing or a party, we did both!!

“Wow! You'll love the Red Sunset!” Are you looking for a luxury guesthouse near Lake Arenal and Arenal Volcano? If so, look no further and book yourself into the Red Sunset. My husband and I, along with six friends, spent a week in March there. We are so glad we did! We found the accommodations to be everything they were advertised and more. The views are amazing and the house, pool house and grounds will give you plenty of opportunities to relax and explore. While the guesthouse is excellent, the very best feature is the owner/operator Patrick. Patrick met with us each day to help us plan activities and make reservations with the best tour operators. His local knowledge and recommendations were spot on each day, and his help was invaluable. The breakfast provided each morning was a highlight unto itself. Come prepared to eat well – you won’t be disappointed. We’ve never had meals of this quality at similar style lodgings. We also took advantage of the optional evening Chef services. While there were several great places to eat in the Lake Arenal area, all of which were recommended to us by Patrick, you won’t beat the meals prepared by Patrick and his wife. Our favorite was the Chicken Parmesan – sorry, Mom, but it was the best we’ve had anywhere! The Red Sunset was the perfect place for our Costa Rica vacation. We arrived as guests and soon felt like family. We’re glad we chose the Red Sunset!

“Truly Amazing property!” There are no words to describe how wonderful it was to wake up to the magnificent views at Casa Espanola. The concierge and staff at my vacation Costa Rica were very attentive to all our needs. We were there for my girlfriend's bachelorette party and we were a group of 15! From the beginning, geralyn and Amy did a great job planning out our trip. I was very anxious about how the trip was going to turn out because i had never been to Costa Rica, but they were always so prompt with responding to my emails and executing all that was promised. Geralyn set up all of our excursions ahead of time. She even scheduled massages at the property! You won't want to leave this place! The pictures do not do it justice! It is even more beautiful in person. We posted photos on instagram with the hashtag #casaespanola so that you can see some photos from our experience. There were 4 floors and each had an ocean view! It was refreshing being able to wake up to that every morning! Every day, the cleaning staff came and cleaned up the property thoroughly, so the house was so nice every time we got back from our daily outing. Oh and our private chef, Chef Harold, was amazing!!!! He and his wife are so nice and the food is delicious! They have a menu on site and they will cook anything you request as long as they can get the ingredients. I would recommend Costa Rican cuisine because it is really yummy. All you have to pay for is the cost of food. And it is definitely worth it! The beaches are close by and easy to get to. The cost of transportation is about $1.75 per person each way. We had breakfast at Cafe Milagro. Their food is really good and the coffee drinks are deelish! You must see Manuel Antonio park. It is about a 20 minute stroll through the park where you see cute monkeys and other exotic animals. Once you get to the end of the park, you get to Manuel Antonio beach which is totally worth it! We had a blast. We also went to playa biesanz which is nice and private. Our trip was at the beginning of rainy season (May 28th-June 1st). I was really anxious about the weather because of the weather reports. I will say this: please disregard what you see on your weather app. It said that it was 100% precipitation and that it would be cloudy and raining every day. The weather was amazing pretty much all day. It would get cloudy in the late evening and it did rain a couple nights, but Costa Rica is so amazing that it didn't even bother us. Especially since we stayed at casa Española. I forgot to mention that they even provide you with 2 cell phones in case you need to get in touch with your concierge! How amazing is that? You can use the phone to make any local calls. So after the first couple days, i was able to call my own taxi lol I’m sure some of the other girls will post a review so you can definitely see how happy we were with our experience! Stay here! “Everything you need in a beautiful setting” We ( me, my husband and adult daughter) stayed 8 nights in the 2 bedroom apartment! It was huge! 2 big bedrooms, 2 kitchens, 2 bathrooms, a Living room and a balcony overlooking the pool. There is a restaurant, a bar, gym, launderette, 1 family pool, 1 Adult pool, 2 jacuzzis, happy hours, entertainment, free bus service to the beach, free pool and beach towels are provided. What more can you ask for. The apartment is away from the main strip- therefore it is quiet at night. It's only an easy 20 minute walk to the main restaurants and 25 minutes to the beach. The beach bar you are taken to provide free sunbeds, free iced water. Serves food and drinks- but don't constantly pressure you to purchase. We had a relaxed vacation here. Hopefully we will be back.

“Fabulous time!” The staff was so friendly and helpful! They provided Beach towels and a pass to a couple of local beaches even though we preferred to go to other places. The apartments were clean and had all the utensils we needed. Towels were changed daily and we felt very safe there. There are a couple of small local supermarkets in the area as well. They have a nice barbecue area. I absolutely would go back!!!! On a sidenote it's a lot more convenient to rent a car so you're able to see the island from a lot of different perspectives not just as a tourist. ENJOY!

“Unforgettable views and experience” We arrived back in the States on early Monday morning, and our regular work and family routine immediately slapped us in the face. What a harsh reality check after our amazing Costa Rican vacation! We had a fantastic time in Guanacaste, and Cass Fiesta was everything we imagined it would be - and a little bit more. The views were indescribably gorgeous. I would have been content to sit on the upper deck or poolside all day long and watch the sunshine and clouds change throughout the day. Casa Fiesta was such an incredibly relaxing setting. The house itself is beautiful and well-stocked with everything needed to enjoy an extended stay. It feels like a remote and exotic location, but the beach, groceries, and restaurants were only a 5-10 minute drive down the mountain. The pool was a refreshing respite from the afternoon sun, and the hilltop temperatures were very comfortable - especially in the evening while enjoying sunset and twilight. The howler monkey calls and exotic bird fly-bys in the morning were enjoyed immensely on the deck while sipping coffee. Simply amazing. Casa Fiesta also benefits tremendously from Diego and Jennifer's presence. We especially enjoyed Jennifer's meal (arguably the best we had all week!) and Diego's sage advice. Diego also took us whitewater rafting on very short notice and arranged everything. We couldn't have done it without him. As our vacation transitioned to other locations in Guanacaste, I found myself missing the scenic view from Casa Fiesta and wished we could have spent the entire duration on the seaside mountaintop overlooking Portrero. Thanks again for accommodating us, and we look forward to planning our next Costa Rican journey at some point in the not-too-distant future.

“Great Value” Caribbean Palm Village is an older resort that has been well maintained. The 2 pools were very clean and there was ample seating at each. The 2 hot tubs were very enjoyable. The one bedroom unit was very spacious and had 2 full bathrooms, a nicely appointed kitchen and a good sized living dinning area. We especially enjoyed having a morning coffee on the deck. This resort is a little off the beaten path so it is a quite retreat. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. It is an exception value for the price paid. This was our 3rd trip to the resort and we will definitely be returning.

“Wonderful place” We where two families of 13 had an opportunity to stay in this house for a week and we didn't want to leave. Myrna & Eric was very prompt to answer all the questions (1st time renter) and kindly work with us throughout the whole process. When we arrived, the house keeper was there to greet us with her smile and Alex the local manager to explain how everything was working. The house was everything that Myrna told us: a very big, clean, well kept, organized house. Everything we need was there so that we could have a very comfortable vacation. We felt very at home. The house is very private in a wonderful, quiet neighborhood. The backyard, full of plants and trees to please our eyes. The pool were very well kept and inviting so our kids jumped right after we got situated. It took us 10 minutes to walk to the beach or 5 avenue. Both beach and 5 avenue was amazing. We highly recommend this house to all our friends and other families. Since we only had a week vacation this time, we plan to come back here when we visit Playa Del Carmen again. Hopefully, the house will be available for us again. Thank you to all. You made our vacation so wonderful.

“Pura Vida” Excellent place to stay and cheap. Very nice clean modern villa with private pool and perfect for 2 couples or a family. Located in the center of Santa Teresa and right by the beach, which makes this villa a perfect destination. We were 2 couples and had a blast, cooked some amazing dinners in the large kitchen, and had good evenings playing music in the surround sound system and jumping in the pool. Enjoy :P P.S : Weather was great even though forecast said the opposite. Green season is very enjoyable and cheaper.
