“Wow! Complete paradise! Can't wait to go back again... and again” This was our second time to the Lattice House and it was even more spectacular than the first time. Besides the house and property being absolutely gorgeous, the people are amazing (especially the house host, Ana!) and the wildlife and nature is second to none. Wether staying at the house or going on excursions, I can't imagine anyone not enjoying and living up every second. This time, the "lawn" and surrounding area was cleared out more and trails were marked. We headed down to the waterfall but beware, it is a little bit of a hike but completely worth it! We picked fruit from the orchard for fruit bowls for breakfast and spent as much time as we could in the infinity pool. Highly recommend waking up early with the howler monkeys in the morning. The animals are super active at this time and we even saw a family of wild boars on property. So awesome. Ana, the house host was the best. She was always readily accessible and answered all our questions and gave us the best recommendations. This is the best vacation we have ever been on (twice!) and can't wait to go back next year.

“Magical Vacation” Thank You Gail & Curlson for allowing us to rent from you. The instant we got to your place, we felt like we were "home". The location of your property is perfect, a short drive to Red Hook and close to some gorgeous beaches. The villa included many "little" amenities such as beach towels, paper goods, hairdryers, that really made my packing job much easier! The kids had the best time swimming in the pool & hot tub and ask daily when we can go back! I think even breakfast tasted better because we were able to eat it every morning on the patio overlooking St. John and Sapphire Beach. Whenever we had a concern or question, you were a quick phone call or email away. And the place looked exactly as it does in your pictures. “Truly Amazing property!” There are no words to describe how wonderful it was to wake up to the magnificent views at Casa Espanola. The concierge and staff at my vacation Costa Rica were very attentive to all our needs. We were there for my girlfriend's bachelorette party and we were a group of 15! From the beginning, geralyn and Amy did a great job planning out our trip. I was very anxious about how the trip was going to turn out because i had never been to Costa Rica, but they were always so prompt with responding to my emails and executing all that was promised. Geralyn set up all of our excursions ahead of time. She even scheduled massages at the property! You won't want to leave this place! The pictures do not do it justice! It is even more beautiful in person. We posted photos on instagram with the hashtag #casaespanola so that you can see some photos from our experience. There were 4 floors and each had an ocean view! It was refreshing being able to wake up to that every morning! Every day, the cleaning staff came and cleaned up the property thoroughly, so the house was so nice every time we got back from our daily outing. Oh and our private chef, Chef Harold, was amazing!!!! He and his wife are so nice and the food is delicious! They have a menu on site and they will cook anything you request as long as they can get the ingredients. I would recommend Costa Rican cuisine because it is really yummy. All you have to pay for is the cost of food. And it is definitely worth it! The beaches are close by and easy to get to. The cost of transportation is about $1.75 per person each way. We had breakfast at Cafe Milagro. Their food is really good and the coffee drinks are deelish! You must see Manuel Antonio park. It is about a 20 minute stroll through the park where you see cute monkeys and other exotic animals. Once you get to the end of the park, you get to Manuel Antonio beach which is totally worth it! We had a blast. We also went to playa biesanz which is nice and private. Our trip was at the beginning of rainy season (May 28th-June 1st). I was really anxious about the weather because of the weather reports. I will say this: please disregard what you see on your weather app. It said that it was 100% precipitation and that it would be cloudy and raining every day. The weather was amazing pretty much all day. It would get cloudy in the late evening and it did rain a couple nights, but Costa Rica is so amazing that it didn't even bother us. Especially since we stayed at casa Española. I forgot to mention that they even provide you with 2 cell phones in case you need to get in touch with your concierge! How amazing is that? You can use the phone to make any local calls. So after the first couple days, i was able to call my own taxi lol I’m sure some of the other girls will post a review so you can definitely see how happy we were with our experience! Stay here! “Unforgettable views and experience” We arrived back in the States on early Monday morning, and our regular work and family routine immediately slapped us in the face. What a harsh reality check after our amazing Costa Rican vacation! We had a fantastic time in Guanacaste, and Cass Fiesta was everything we imagined it would be - and a little bit more. The views were indescribably gorgeous. I would have been content to sit on the upper deck or poolside all day long and watch the sunshine and clouds change throughout the day. Casa Fiesta was such an incredibly relaxing setting. The house itself is beautiful and well-stocked with everything needed to enjoy an extended stay. It feels like a remote and exotic location, but the beach, groceries, and restaurants were only a 5-10 minute drive down the mountain. The pool was a refreshing respite from the afternoon sun, and the hilltop temperatures were very comfortable - especially in the evening while enjoying sunset and twilight. The howler monkey calls and exotic bird fly-bys in the morning were enjoyed immensely on the deck while sipping coffee. Simply amazing. Casa Fiesta also benefits tremendously from Diego and Jennifer's presence. We especially enjoyed Jennifer's meal (arguably the best we had all week!) and Diego's sage advice. Diego also took us whitewater rafting on very short notice and arranged everything. We couldn't have done it without him. As our vacation transitioned to other locations in Guanacaste, I found myself missing the scenic view from Casa Fiesta and wished we could have spent the entire duration on the seaside mountaintop overlooking Portrero. Thanks again for accommodating us, and we look forward to planning our next Costa Rican journey at some point in the not-too-distant future.

“Wow!!” Dave, the Villa bus driver, picked us up at a local hotel where we had spent the previous night. The trip from Montego Bay to Mais Oui took a little over an hour but we did have one stop at a grocery for snacks and drinks. Dave was available the entire week and his advice on day trips and what to see was really appreciated. Upon arrival at the Villa we were greeted by Miss Ruby and the entire staff that presented us with cool towels and rum punch. We got a quick tour of the property while our luggage was unloaded and placed in the appropriate rooms. We were a group of 11 adults--all family and close friends. The Villa was spotless and all the items that we had requested in advance were on site for our arrival. This included the first two days' food and drinks. Arrangements for the food and drinks had been made with a local grocery where the Villa can charge and get delivery. The items were a bit pricy but for the convenience of having everything on site at arrival it is worth a little extra. On Tuesday Chef Arthur and I shopped at a large grocery store in Ocho Rios and purchased food for the remainder of our stay. Prices at this store were excellent as was the selection of food available. Our week at Mais Oui was exceptional. The staff was superb. Miss Ruby, the manager, was always available if we had questions or needs. Audrey and Janice kept the Villa in immaculate condition with fresh linens and towels daily in each room as well as fresh towels for the pool and beach as needed. Max kept the pool and grounds spotless and made sure the hot tub was ready as requested. Paul was always on hand also to serve our meals and get anything our group needed. A security guard was on site from dusk to dawn. Everyone in the group enjoyed "spa" day on Wednesday when massages were provided for our entire group. These were done by therapists whom the Villa arranged to have on site that day at an additional charge. The pool area is wonderful as it provides areas of shade, partial sun and full sun depending on how you locate your loungers. The pool is not heated but very refreshing when cooling off from the warm sun. We were a little saddened that the tennis court was in need of some repair but we were still able to use the court just not play competitively. The food at the Villa has to be considered a high point. Chef Arthur is a wonderful cook and prepared some of the finest meals we have enjoyed. He took the menu we had arranged and prepared almost everything we had requested. He asked permission to vary some dishes to give us a little more flavor of Jamaica and everyone agreed his selections were first rate. He is preparing a cook book with all his recipes and we look forward to getting a copy!! Overall, we felt like we were treated like members of the Mais Oui family. There were plenty of tears when on our last morning we were serenaded by the entire staff. Totally unexpected was a call from the Villa owner to see how our vacation was progressing and if all our needs were being met.

“Spacious and comfortable” My family and a friend's family spent a wonderful week in Nicaragua, and we were amazed at the beauty of this country and the people. When we arrived at this beach house, I was impressed by the large living areas of the house and great design. Our family spent one of our most memorable vacations. The feeling of being in front of the ocean, nobody to bother you at the beach, being with nature as it was originally made, not artificial. This was outstanding. Otilia and Pepe, the housekeepers were outstanding and friendly, and taught our kids many Spanish words. We go back with a collection of shells, lots of pictures and a broken heart. We will return!

“Beautiful Property” The entire staff was terrific. Viviana was super helpful as she was able to make travel arrangements for us to make our stay enjoyable. Stephen was also terrific, he was great during booking and even called to check in with us while we were there. My only regret is not taking Stephen's recommendation to have our cars (Suvs!) delivered directly to the villa. Also, do not get anything but an SUV as a rental, a regular car will not make it up to the villa.

“Sandos Playacar is Amazing!” My family - me, my husband and two kids - just returned from an amazing week at the Sandos Playacar in Playa Del Carmen. We had such a fantastic time and LOVED Sandos. Everything was great - the food, the staff, the facilities, the entertainment and more! Sandos is a truly beautiful resort - the hacienda was spacious, clean and had all the amenities we needed. The food at the al a carte restaurants was especially good, although we enjoyed the buffet breakfasts very much. The staff bent over backwards to help us with everything. The beach section was beautiful with plenty of comfortable lounge chairs, beds and hammocks to relax in. A short walk down the beach-2 minutes- brought us to a snorkeling area that was filled with tropical fish. The evening entertainment was top notch! All of our plans were booked through Georgette Flamm who provided detailed information and assistance every step of the way. She provided tons of info about the rooms and the resort, reserved transportation from the airport and gave us other valuable tips about our visit to Sandos. She responded to all of my questions immediately - I really was impressed how easy she made it! I would absolutely recommend Georgette Flamm and Sandos to anyone!!

“Spectacular!!!” Our stay at Hacienda Encantada during the days 21 to 25 July 2013, it was an unforgettable experience. Comfortable, clean and everything you need to have fun with the family. The landscape, the rainy season, and the ambient sounds of birds and animals were elements that made us feel at peace and in communication with nature. Although the way to reach the house was a bit difficult, the same was not reason to stop enjoying all of the wonderful of the place. Talk with Mayquel on the customs and way of life of the inhabitants of the area, it was very interesting. Without a doubt, we would love to return. Thanks Marty.

“Paradise” This condominium is impeccable and very roomy. I was skeptical about The Dominican but I've told everyone I know that this is the nicest place I've every been to in the Caribbean. About 8 minutes from the airport and the views from the living room were magnificent! We felt very safe. the pool and beach are literally a step over the back veranda. Comfy chairs on beach. The Sanctuary Hotel (on site) and restaurant is luxurious, but I would prefer to stay in this condo. Tony's liaison Carmen was kind enough to escort us to the condo and then take me in to town to buy groceries, and housekeeper anna was a delight and wonderful cook. The Marina is breathtaking..felt like we were walking around in Venice. Planning and communicating with Tony was seamless. Can't wait to return with entire family.
