“Best home away from home at the beach.” I spent a lot of time searching for a bungalow at the beach and my expectations were surpassed when I opened the door! The owners were thoughtful in design, layout and furnishings to provide a laid back experience at the beach. I wished I could have stayed forever - it was that nice. I especially enjoyed the fully stocked kitchen which included colorful dishes to match the colorful walls and great blue floor! Best of all - location - you can walk everywhere as you are right in the historic Bridge Street neighborhood.

“Relaxing place to call "home" and perfect location!” Leah and Roland were awesome! The home was stocked with everything we needed to cook a meal, and had a great deck to relax after a day at the beach. The bedrooms were so comfortable too! I loved the decor and the location. My family of 4 enjoyed the Rockport Beach and local restaurants nearby. We will be back soon!

“Awesome-perfect in every way” We cannot say enough possitive things about this home and the hosts. We have come to Tarpon for 30 years but this is the first time we ve used flipkey and we will only use flipkey from now on. From the welcoming hug to the perfect ammenities throughout, you could not beat this offering. Location is beautiful and perfect to access anything. The hosts were so nice and they had paid attention to so many details, we were overwhelmed. They had lots of suggestions and a great notebook filled with menus and things to do. Plus hints on specials, fishing and the area. As we ended our trip they even greeted us with a weather report--there was a storm headed our way. Thank you both for making sure this was the best time we ve ever had in this, our favorite, Florida location.

“Paradise found at The Cozy Cottage on Lake Travis!!!” Speaking for our entire family, I want to thank you for an amazing four day vacation/experience. Upon arriving at Living Waters, we were immediately drawn into the peaceful, inspirational environment that encompasses the "compound". "The Cottage" was perfect for the seven of us. After we arrived, we sat out on the back porch to admire our surroundings. Bethany arrived to give us some wonderful advice as to what to see and do in and around Spicewood. Her charm and enthusiasm immediately got us all excited about our next few days of activities. Our next activities were from Bethany and Travis's recommendations: visits to the Stone House and Spicewood Wineries and swimming at Krause Springs. I saved the best recommendation for last: The Friday night Tomato Happy Hour with Kathleen. We met so many wonderful "regulars" as well as the other two couples who were staying at Living Waters. It was a memorable experience. Kathleen is an amazing person. After I read her little book that was upstairs in the cottage, I couldn't wait to talk with her. She bonded instantly with our family and the children were taken in by her warmth and friendliness. Little Haynie hadn't come home by the time we left so Kathleen invited us to come back the next morning, bright and early, so that we could meet him. We set our alarms for 6:30 am and we were not disappointed. My grandson Evan (age 10) said that petting a deer was one of the most wonderful experiences he's ever had. We all decided that we wanted to have a pet deer of our own!!! Thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to experience life in that little corner of heaven called Living Waters. “Shangri La” This is a beautiful spot. The cottage itself was very clean and lovely. The sheets were excellent, and the kitchen had every cooking utensil needed, along with heavy bottomed cookware (excellent for cooking that cracked corn for grits!) Sara and Dan are very knowledgeable, and generous with said knowledge. The beach is a short walk and is gorgeous, and quiet. No complaints whatsoever!

“Hidden Treasure” This cottage is one of our favorite place to stay. Clean, well equipped, private, and so relaxing. A great place to spend a relaxing vacation. We love the outdoor kitchen and sitting area.

“SoCo Studio is The Place !!!” We had a wonderful stay with Jana. She and Barkley(her precious dog) offered a comfortable, clean and amazing stay ! The backyard and deck area were fantastic! “Best weekend to the end of the summer” The hideawy cottage was perfect for what we needed peacefully, quite and dog friendly that what was the best part! The staff was great and professional and helpful. This was a perfect getaway for my birhtday celebration. I am turly coming back to take another mini vacation it was all the comfronts of home. I would like to thank the staff at Blue Wave Condo Suites for a wonderfully experience and this will be my new vacation spot when I travel back to Clearwater Beach.

“It does not get any better than this in Cocoa Beach” There is check-box beneath this text field asking if I'd recommend this vacation rental to a friend. Absolutely not. No way. I'm not telling anybody, I'm keeping this place to myself. We were in town for the annual Cocoa Beach Art Show, plus a class reunion. Rooms were tight in CB, and many of our friends were staying at the local chain hotel/motels. I had first heard about Jackie and Dave's guest cottages a few months ago, but I didn't act. Much to my surprise, it popped up on TA and was available for the weekend. Best move we ever made. The Manatee Suite is over-the-top great. Bordering on kitsch, but not. Beach Kitsch. Brightly painted stucco, manatees, mermaids, sea turtles, and oh that beautiful spacious lanai, about as big as the entire suite. And a koi pond. All enclosed in a very private tropical garden that gives one little incentive to ever leave. There is a very comfy queen bed...a king would be nice, but would seriously cut into the navigation...and a kitchenette/hang-out area with a pull-out perfect for a couple of little ones or just to flop and watch tv (wall mounted flat-screen, extends to full view in either of the two rooms). No stove in the kitchenette, but a fridge and micro, as well as coffee maker and all the basic utensils and plates and drinkware. The Manatee Suite is in the back of the cottage, with the owner's residence and another suite out front. This is perfect, as it provides a buffer from the traffic noise of A1A. Jackie and Dave's little doggie will great you every time you walk by. The gate locks, adding another level of privacy to the beautiful lanai on a sunny day. ;) My wife and I grew up in Cocoa Beach, and return regularly. For some odd reason we'd never heard of the Done Roam Inn Guest Cottages. I hesitate to tell anyone else about it, because it is simply the best place in CB for for a casual vacation. Located one in from the corner of 3d St. North and AIA, it's within walking distance of virtually everything Downtown Cocoa Beach has to offer in terms of restaurants (breakfast, lunch, dinner), bars, coffee shops, you name it. We parked the car and rarely used it. Of course, the beach is right across the street. I mean, like right there. The cottage also comes with a couple beach chairs and extra beach towels. It felt like we were staying with some friends, certainly not in a cold hotel. I think our future plans will be to rent both suites and have a Thanksgiving on the beach. This is a homey and comfy as you'll find in Cocoa Beach...take it from a guy who grew up here and knows his way around this town. My only advice would be to NOT stay here at any of the times we're in town. I'll be sad if the Manatee Suite is not available for us. We showed a few pictures and invited a few friends over and got the same response from every one...jaw dropping, "why didn't we stay here?!" I may be shooting myself in the foot by posting this review, but Jackie and Dave deserve all the positive vibes I can send. In my travels I've found few places that have made me feel so welcome, so at home, than Done Roam Inn. When we checked out, Jackie and my wife shared a hug. I cannot think of one negative thing to post about the place.
