“Perfect Weekend Get-a-Way” This rustic off the grid cottage on Lasqueti Island was perfect for our family get-a-way weekend. Rob met us at the dock, drove us to the cottage (although it was only a 5 minute walk but much appreciated as we had some luggage), and then explained the cottage mechanics. Josephine was attentive and helpful on the phone. Wonderful couple! Charming cottage! Excellent experience! Thank you.

“Gorgeous! Looking forward to our next visit.” We stayed here for a week. It was a lovely place for us the stay. The kids had a wonderful time playing around the garden. It is a lovely garden with many paths leading here and there to traverse. There are many lovely places to sit and enjoy the view or simply to take a casual stroll though and enjoy the serenity. So first the gardens are wonderful. The amount of work to maintain these is wonderful and I really enjoyed talking with Diana about different aspects of gardening. She gave us a tour all around and we all enjoyed that. The house is older and has lots of charm. The kids loved the bedrooms upstairs. The one is smaller and just seemed the right size for the little ones. All the bed were very comfortable and had lovely bedding, nice smooth sheets and down duvets. We were all very comfortable at night. The kitchen was great the stove and fridge worked well and there was lots of pots and pans for us to use. There is a BBQ and outdoor grill also available. Great for cooking crabs! The view from the property is breathtaking. Its been a couple weeks now and I still miss sitting there in the evening with a glass of wine. Such a lovely relaxing place to stay. We look forward to our next trip. Lastly the jewel of the Boxwood Cottage is Diana herself. She is right next door if you need any info but I never felt that she was intrusive. Very quickly I felt like we were visiting an old friend. She is very busy with the gardens and keeping up the property but was always willing to chat with us and even joke a little with the kids. Looking forward to going back again soon!

“We'll be back!” If you're looking for someplace with attentiveness to all the details and more, Ele's Escape is it! Pet-friendly was my first clue it would be wonderful. But I had no idea the food would be so spectacular, the guest room filled with unexpected fun and comfort ( think amazing chocolate, homemade cookies, soft robes and lots more...). The bed was soo soft and cozy, the ocean within view and a 1 minute walk and the hosts incredible. Informative, welcoming and fun, they are some of the best we've experienced. “Quiet” We fundamentally enjoyed our week's stay at this cabin. We had a really great time, despite the absence of a dishwasher ;-) ! In the end, we did not even have time enough to fully explore the island ... Unfortunately, the road to Anderson Bay was too rough to make it there, even with our all-wheel-drive rental car: we tried but gave up halfway, being afraid we would strand in the middle of nowhere, many km from civilisation (= Bob's Lake) and without cell-phone reception. We did not encounter a single other car on that trip, all day long! We also liked the Heischolt lakes and Shingles beach. The Raven restaurant had nice food and the general store offered very nice bread! We had excellent wildlife sightings from the cabin, including a snake on the steps to the beach and a pod of transient orcas passing through Gillies Bay on the first evening! We also had nice bald-eagle views, including an adult picking up a dead dog shark from the beach (which we inspected the day before at close range) and bringing it to its chick in the nest a few 100 m along the beach (down the road to Shelter park). We will be back in the future!

“Bliss!” You won't be disappointed with this lovely condo. The view is spectacular with amazing sunrises and sunsets, the fresh scent of sea air and the accomodation is terrific. There's lots of room to spread out and enjoy. This was our second year at this condo and we decided that we'll be regular visitors year after year - it's just that good! We find that we can't help but unwind and relax here and each visit we plan to spend at few days on site (instead of venturing out) taking in the sea, relaxing beside the pool or having a swim and beach combing! Roz has thought of everything in the unit so you just need to bring your personal effects and you'll be well taken care of. The unit is very clean, beds and pillows are comfortable and there's no traces of pets from previous visits. The complex is very well maintained with a playground for the little ones, tennis court, several patios with Weber bbqs for everyone to use, pool and hot tub, poolside lounge chairs as well as tables and chairs, firepit, dock for your boat or perhaps fishing, even a herb garden. Looking forward to next year already!

“Always a Pleasure” We just returned from our third visit to above the Inlet B & B. As always, it was immaculate, quiet, and an enjoyable stay. This is our home away from home. We have family in Sechelt and so we always appreciate staying at above the Inlet when we come to visit. Peter and Patricia are wonderful inns keepers and we are so thankful for their B & B.
