“Lovely, spacious and thoughtfully stocked home” Kelly's Beach Retreat is a fantastic place. Steps from the beach, thoughtfully stocked, and with an inviting open kitchen and dining room. The place gets amazing light and is very relaxing. Glenn was great to work with as well. Our only note is that while the home is wonderful for families--and large ones at that!--parents of toddlers should note that there are a lot of steps that are very attractive to little climbers. Had we thought about it, we would have put a mini gate or something in the car with us.

“Tarheel Treasure Pleasure” My entire experience from beginning to end was very pleasant. The house was perfect for our needs and I really appreciated the convenience of the keyless entry. The neighborhood was quiet and not far at all from grocery stores and shopping. And even better was the very short walk to the beach!

“Decent house, well-stocked” We stayed here for the first year. The house was in a great location, with an easy walk to the beach. The kitchen was so well stocked and we loved the fact that the house provided both bed and bath linens (beds even made for us). We also liked the keyless entry, it was great not to have to worry about carrying a key. We did have an issue with the dishwasher not working which we were not told about. That was not a problem specifically with the house but with the realty company. We loved that the house was dog-friendly. It was nice and clean. We did, however, find a live roach in the sunroom but once we got rid of it, we did not find anymore fortunately. Overall, the house was very nice.

“Relaxing with a bonus cheesecake!” Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Slam Dunk. It was an inviting, comfortable home with everything we needed. Having the cheesecake delivered to the front door on our first night there was a wonderfully delicious surprise. We also enjoyed using the pool at Monteray Shores. The only down side was the distance to the beach.

“Great vacation!” We had a great week at "A Pirate's Paradise" We loved the house, layout, pool---everything! We would love to come back again!

“Nice House-Bad Rental agency” The house was great, unfortunately we had a terrible expierience with the rental agency.

“Our vacation was awesome!” Outer Banks Blue is an awesome company to deal with. The house was ready on time; it was neat and clean. When a problem arose with the hot tub, Outer Banks Blue was on it and had it fixed as soon as possible. The house fit our needs perfectly. We were very pleased. This was our first visit to the Outer Banks, and we look forward to many more.

“A well-appointed property” The house was perfect for the two of us, plus the adult couple who visited us for part of our stay. The bedrooms were comfortable, the kitchen was clean and well equipped, the living room had all the modern necessities. We loved the in-ground pool, the hot tub, the bicycles, the basketball goal and the beach cart. If we could make one improvement, it would be a larger deck since this one was cut in half by the screened-in porch. But that's a small shortcoming in what is otherwise a superb beach retreat.

“Great Experience!!!” Our family of 6 stayed at Judge's Chambers over the 4th of July week this year. The house was spacious and had a huge, beautiful pool. The location was great - as close to the beach as you can get without renting a house on it. Extra amenities - such as wireless internet and a gas grill - were much appreciated and utilized! Outer Banks Blue had great customer service. Everything was easy and conducted over the phone and internet. Loved the keyless entry and the linens included. On the one occasion that we had to contact them during our trip, they returned our call promptly and happily answered our question. We would highly recommend both Judge's Chambers and Outer Banks Blue to anyone looking for a great Outer Banks vacation!!

“Relaxing and fun time with friends.” Overall a wonderful vacation with a great check-in and check-out process, extremely clean amenities, and a great location. The only issue that we had was that for 4 days of our 7 day stay the internet at the house did not work. This would not have been a big deal except for the fact that a number of our party members needed to have internet access in order to complete Grad work and school work. Other than this the visit to OBX and Corolla was wonderful and the Corolla Corral was a fantastic home.

“Our stay allowed us to create alot of wonderful memories!” Overall, the stay was wonderful! The size of the home was more than accomodating and it was nice to have so many options to sleep! The ease of booking and check in was 5 star! The only down side to this vacation was that the home was not extremely clean and there was an alarm going off in the backyard that was pretty loud. We found a couple of things that may have been left by the cleaning company, but were a bit unsettling. There was a surgeons mask left in one room and insulin needles in another. Also, there was an alarm that went off early one morning in the back yard that was flashing and had a loud beeping noise. We could not turn it off and because it was New Year's day there was no one available to come out and fix the situation. As mentioned before, these are all things that are minor and we had a wonderful vacation creating memories! We would stay in this house again and would recommend this to a friend.

“Beautiful home with everything you need!” Wow! This home is not only beautiful and spacious but also probably the most well equiped vacation rentals I have ever stayed! This home has everything! I actually brought a crock pot along with me because all of the rentals I have stayed before never has a crock pot. And low and behold, there was a working crock pot in the cabinet. I especially loved the ice maker in the kitchen since we use so much ice and we never ran out. We had some bad weather for a day or two and we had to stay indoors. There were plenty of games, puzzles and movies so we were never bored. The pool table was a bonus. The kids had a blast in the outside pool. Also, the short walk to the beach was a blessing. On a personal note. The family photos sitting around the house gave us a feeling of home.

“Great house with more than enough room for everyone.” The house size was great with all of the bedrooms and bathrooms. the pool was a little small compared to how many people can stay at the house.

“Lovely house in great family location” This was our first visit to the Outer Banks and will not be our last. We were concerned that after Irina the house would be a mess, but on the whole it was great. There was some minor damage to a couple of screens, but otherwise the house is in great condition and was clean. The beach is a short, safe walk from the property and, in September, it never got very busy the whole time. There is a supermarket 5 minutes drive away and a number of restaurants in the area (the good ones require booking a table). The kitchen has the basics but bring your own chopping boards, condiments etc if you plan on cooking. Unfortunately the previous renters had used the play area as kennel for their dog and it was full of excrement. We called the management company, Outer Banks Blue, who apologized and said they would send someone over. We called again the next day but no one ever did come. That's a shame because it's a nice house and the response of the management company to our one small problem is the only thing that would make me think twice about using it again.

“All that we expected” Excellent accomodations as described online.Kitchen was the most well equipped we have ever stayed in.Plenty of good pots pans plates glasses cups bowls/everything to accomodate large groups including a super large dining table as well as a bar with stools.Two diswashers guaranteed fast cleanup.Stocked spice Cabinet. Short walk to the beach.The beach closet contained everything needed.Umbrellas several chairs beach toys floats buggie boards,some fishing items,buckets large and small shovles and more.A beach cart was there to transport items.The bedrooms were large and spacious and there were plenty of bathrooms for everyone.Tv's were in each bedroom as well as the game room (w/Pool Table) and the living room on the top level as well as DVD players and WiFi. The pool was a favorite gathering spot as was the hottub for adults and kids. Outside showers were available to rinse the sand off after the beach trip.Shelves full of books and some Dvds were there also. The community pool and Tennis courts were close and in excellent condition. Shopping locations were close by for groceries and other stuff.The only problem we had was the ice dispenser on the frig was broken.The ice maker worked well and we had plenty of ice and no probem opening the door to get it.It just didn't dispense. Maintenance checked it and were working to get it repaired. A child gate was at the stairs to prevent little ones from tumbling.The 4 digit combination lock on the second floor door worked well with no keys to keep up with. The washer/dryer was used extensively and functioned perfectly.We had 13 from seniors to a 6 month old and had empty bunk beds.Handicapped will have a problem with the stairs and the master bedroom and kitchen/dinning area are on the top floor with no elevator.Heavy auto traffic arriving and departing July 4th week.Check with Outer Banks Blue for best arrival time with least stop and go traffic. We understand this is normal most of the year. Our week was enjoyed by all.

“Great beach! Great House!” Our stay here was terrific. This is our fourth summer renting the same house. We love all the extra amenities, especially the bikes for a family bike ride. We had three families staying and friends that visited while we were there. We all had plenty of space and a great time.

“Great family home” We had a great week at Oasis in late June. We loved the private pool, and it also had plenty Of pool and beach toys. The kitchen was fully Stocked with everything we needed. The house Is in a private neighborhood, and it was easy and safe to walk up the street to the beach. We had people ranging in age from 3 weeks To 76 with us, and this house fit all our needs. I would stay here again.

“Very nice property and a good value for the area” We had 18 people at the house and there was plenty of everything: space, seating, recreation. Although, not on the beach, the walk to the beach was short, straight walk to the walkway. The dunes in this area are quite high, and there are quite a few steps to tackle. Nice beach. Would definetly recommend the Tropical Dream. The service from the rental company, Outerbanks Blue was great
