“Relaxing and fun time with friends.” Overall a wonderful vacation with a great check-in and check-out process, extremely clean amenities, and a great location. The only issue that we had was that for 4 days of our 7 day stay the internet at the house did not work. This would not have been a big deal except for the fact that a number of our party members needed to have internet access in order to complete Grad work and school work. Other than this the visit to OBX and Corolla was wonderful and the Corolla Corral was a fantastic home.

“Beautiful, but things that didn't work weren't fixed” The house was very pretty and everything but the kitchen is very well appointed. The kitchen didn't have a working can opener or little things like a stranger or good serving bowls...little, but a bit annoying when cooking lots of food for so many people. The location is wonderful with great running & bike riding trails and the house had 2 bikes which was great. We had several problems we found on arrival including a non working water/ice dispenser, fan, light, and clothes dryer. After repeated calls to the rental company the first few days we never saw a repair person and just gave up.

“Great Experience!!!” Our family of 6 stayed at Judge's Chambers over the 4th of July week this year. The house was spacious and had a huge, beautiful pool. The location was great - as close to the beach as you can get without renting a house on it. Extra amenities - such as wireless internet and a gas grill - were much appreciated and utilized! Outer Banks Blue had great customer service. Everything was easy and conducted over the phone and internet. Loved the keyless entry and the linens included. On the one occasion that we had to contact them during our trip, they returned our call promptly and happily answered our question. We would highly recommend both Judge's Chambers and Outer Banks Blue to anyone looking for a great Outer Banks vacation!!

“A Fab Family Gathering” We had a great time. The house was comfortable and spacious.The view was wonderful. We were glad to see a wonderfully organized and stocked kitchen- ready for any kind of meal. My only wish would have been sharper knives. It was a perfect visit.

“Smile Away is wonderful!” Smile Away is a great home that offered so much for all the family to do. Plenty of room for the whole family. We usually stay in an ocean front property and was worried about the distance of the home from the beach. Well don't worry! the walk is a short one. Not bad at all. The trade off for us was good because of all that Smile Away had to offer for our family. Our guys especially loved ping pong! We all loved the hot tub. The pool was clean and well kept. We didn't get to do everything the home had to offer because the weather was perfect for once. So, we stayed at the beach most of the time.

“Relaxing and Fun” We had a great family vacation. House was in a great location to shops and beach. Clean and well arranged. Will definately return.

“Great beach! Great House!” Our stay here was terrific. This is our fourth summer renting the same house. We love all the extra amenities, especially the bikes for a family bike ride. We had three families staying and friends that visited while we were there. We all had plenty of space and a great time.

“One of the best Vacations” There were 18 of us in this very comfortable home. The beach was a close walk, pool was great. Absolutely had a fabulous time.

“Awesome Vacation.” The house was great. Water was cold at the ocean. So the pool and hot tub came in handy. The views from the decks was great. Only one problem none of the doors to the multiply decks locked.

“Fantastic home!” Very well-appointed home - nicely decorated and many amenities (kitchen equipment, books, beach toys, chairs, etc.) Perfect floor plan for our group of seven; the layout worked very well for our family of five on the middle floor (in three bedrooms) and the two grandparents upstairs off the main living area. The location was fantastic - very short walk to the beach in one direction and the pool in the other. Also, the Crown Point subdivision is situated close enough to TimBuck II that walking there is also very feasible.

“Overall Impressed” We have rented this property before, fine walk to the beach! private pool is the best! one small suggestion, because it is a pet friendly home, i would suggest to steam clean the carpet prior to each guest, due to some guests having pet allergies.

“Very nice property and a good value for the area” We had 18 people at the house and there was plenty of everything: space, seating, recreation. Although, not on the beach, the walk to the beach was short, straight walk to the walkway. The dunes in this area are quite high, and there are quite a few steps to tackle. Nice beach. Would definetly recommend the Tropical Dream. The service from the rental company, Outerbanks Blue was great

“Relaxing with a bonus cheesecake!” Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Slam Dunk. It was an inviting, comfortable home with everything we needed. Having the cheesecake delivered to the front door on our first night there was a wonderfully delicious surprise. We also enjoyed using the pool at Monteray Shores. The only down side was the distance to the beach.

“Great family home” We had a great week at Oasis in late June. We loved the private pool, and it also had plenty Of pool and beach toys. The kitchen was fully Stocked with everything we needed. The house Is in a private neighborhood, and it was easy and safe to walk up the street to the beach. We had people ranging in age from 3 weeks To 76 with us, and this house fit all our needs. I would stay here again.

“A well-appointed property” The house was perfect for the two of us, plus the adult couple who visited us for part of our stay. The bedrooms were comfortable, the kitchen was clean and well equipped, the living room had all the modern necessities. We loved the in-ground pool, the hot tub, the bicycles, the basketball goal and the beach cart. If we could make one improvement, it would be a larger deck since this one was cut in half by the screened-in porch. But that's a small shortcoming in what is otherwise a superb beach retreat.

“Relaxing” Just a couple of items that we would liked to have had...1st. kind of dissapointed their was only one refridgerator. The one in the kitchen just wasn't big enough for the amount of people we had. 2nd. the beach umbrella and beach items are extremely outdated and not very inviting to use. But overall our stay was nice and we would consider staying their again. nice touch with the wine basket. Thank you ! Mike & Kathy kelly Mt airy,MD

“Fabulous layout of the house. Great pool” The house layout was wonderful for a big family like ours. It does need some updates such as: carpet, sliding doors, stove. It was clean and wonderful. The pool was the best feature to this house. We also enjoyed the deck on the top level. We did have a problem with the air conditioner the last evening we were there. Upon calling the numbers given to us, we were told that there were three calls ahead of us and that they probably would not be able to attend to our problem. Really? Other than that the service was fine.

“A great home for a large family gathering.” This is a lovely home, but it is in need of a little special care. The pool area was in need of sweeping (which I did) and clean up. The gas grill was so rusted we were unable to use it. One living room swivel chair was broken. It needed needed new screws. We called OBB and a man came and looked at it. He said he would return to fix it that afternoon and we never saw him again. Otherwise the home was in good condition. By the way I filled one of these out already. You must have lost it.

“Comfortable home and close to the beach. Great hot tub!” House is a little dated with older furniture and no flat screen TV, but clean and comfortable. Great place to bring all the family together for Christmas. We really enjoyed the convienence of the beach, being only about 100 yds or so away. My dogs loved running on the beach. There weren't a lot of restaurants open Christmas week. We did try "Oyster Shuckers" in Kill Devil Hills, and they were pretty good. Since the weather was very cold the week I was there, the hot tub was absolutely awesome. It also was well maintained. It was clean when we arrived, and someone also came out midweek and cleaned it again. Athough this is not the nicest place I've ever rented, I would say it is a very good place to rent. My criteria was dog friendly and having a hot tub, and this one meant both.

“It was a fabulous week!” We spent a week at avoca Blue with our children and grandchildren and it was wonderful. We don't often all get together in one place so that part was great. The setting made our family time even better. The house was large enough to give us our own spaces, but cozy enough when we were all together. The house has everything you could wantfrom the kitchen supplies (my son-in-law was happy to find the coffee grinder) to beach chairs. We had plenty of dishes, silverware and glasses. It is one of the nicer houses that we have rented. We spent a lot of time by the pool and in the wonderful rockers on the front porch. Our 2 month old granddaughter loved to be rocked on the porch. Our 5 year ofd grandson loved the pool as did the 2 year old. They boys also loved riding the trolley to the beach. The only drewback we had was that the ocean water was cold--of course that is something that is not under anyone's control. We heard that it was unusually cold for that time of year. The service from Outer Banks Blue was great, I had several questions and every time I called them, they were knowledgeable and very nice. The house was ready on time and we loved being close to the beach. Some of the kids walked it a few times. The view of the sound from the house if beautiful. The boys spent time in the back yard looking for bugs and frogs. It was definately a week to remember.

“Our stay allowed us to create alot of wonderful memories!” Overall, the stay was wonderful! The size of the home was more than accomodating and it was nice to have so many options to sleep! The ease of booking and check in was 5 star! The only down side to this vacation was that the home was not extremely clean and there was an alarm going off in the backyard that was pretty loud. We found a couple of things that may have been left by the cleaning company, but were a bit unsettling. There was a surgeons mask left in one room and insulin needles in another. Also, there was an alarm that went off early one morning in the back yard that was flashing and had a loud beeping noise. We could not turn it off and because it was New Year's day there was no one available to come out and fix the situation. As mentioned before, these are all things that are minor and we had a wonderful vacation creating memories! We would stay in this house again and would recommend this to a friend.

“Wonderful beach vacation” This was a great home that was so very close to the beach. Beautiful home that was equipped with everything. The family had a wonderful time. The pool was so much bigger than I expected. We also liked the fact that it was dog friendly. A very nice touch was that the owner contacted us the second day we were there to see if everything was okay. I would certainly rent this beautiful home again!!!
