“Cosy cottage in a lovely location” Can't speak highly enough of anvil Cottage. The location is perfect, the cottage is cosy and very well equipped. The kitchen despite not having a dishwasher has everything you need to make it a home from home - lots of crockery and kitchen utensils - things which are sometimes missing from holiday cottages. The garden is very dog proof - we have a border terrier who is happy to escape given any chance but even he couldn't find a way out. The village is busy because of Hill Top opposite - but when all the tourists have gone its lovely to sit in the garden and listen to the birds. At times during our stay we were 5 adults in the house and there was plenty of room for everyone - and having the downstairs shower room really helped.
