“Breathtaking and Serene!” Wow! We fell in love with the Waipio house as soon as we drove into the driveway. What a breathtaking view. The owners were SO helpful, and sweet. The property manager Danele made us feel right at home, and made sure that we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We loved every second of our time spent here. We had all the amenties, you could dream of. Including a LOVELY bbq that we put to good use! We will very much recommend this place to family and friends. This is the PLACE to stay in Waipio. And the best place I've ever stayed on the big island!!

“Cozy cottage in quiet forest amid birdcalls” We so enjoyed our stay at Volcano Mountain Haven. It is close to the National Park, a focal point of our trip for hiking and birding. The grounds are full of flowers and ohia trees, which are full of apapane and other native birds. We appreciated the well-stocked kitchen, the owner's guidebooks and nature guidebooks, the hike and dinner recommendations, which we followed. It is such a beautiful house in a perfect setting, we plan to return soon.

“The best...” Thank you to the owners for supplying us with everything we could possibly require for a beach vacation. Your attention to detail is exceptional. The use of the beach towels to the usage of snorkel and surf gear made the difference. Just meant one less thing for us to worry about. Your home is the cleanest ... Hats off to your wonderful cleaners. This is certainly Kona Paradise.. In comparison to the other islands we found the local people the kindest right here,the culture and authenticity to be real, and the natural habitat fascinating. We will be back. “Best Big Island Experience - Unit 14C” We decided to check out Halii Kai condo on our third trip to the Big Island. The condo complex was so beautifully maintained, peaceful and provides a very residential feel. Unit 14C was beautifully decorated and very well furnished. The kitchen was well equipped and came with all high end appliances. Peggy even provided bottled water and a six pack of Heineken in the refrigerator for us. We had plenty of linen, pillow, etc. to make us feel completely at home. We were able to use the beach chairs and body boards during our stay. We brought our own snorkeling equipment. Next time, we might try out the tennis and basketball courts since Peggy provide racquets and balls too. From the lanai, we had a beautiful ocean front view. We watched the whale cavorting in the water all week. There is access to the Trail by the Sea but the closest beach access are those by the Hilton or the Marriott. It was a pleasure to work with Peggy through out the process. We cannot wait to come back for another relaxing vacation at Halii Kai, Unit 14C.
