“Good rental in the hart of Kona” Well equiped kondo, very clean and perfect located in the hart of Kona. Biggest disadvantage is the small kitchen. The pool is nice and the whirlpool great! Parking can be a problem when you arrive back from a trip after 5pm.

“Vary nice” Accomodations were modern and clean. Resort is beautifully kept. I want to particualry praise the cleaning staff. The two women who came daily were amazing.

“Maui memories” We were excited to be coming back back to Makena Surf after staying there two years ago and being so impressed with the unit and the beautiful surroundings back then. We were somewhat fearful that we could even come close to matching that same experience this time around, but this unit exceeded our expectations. We will be back in the near future.

“Amazing and Beautiful” Loved staying at this condo. Great accommodations, great services and support staff. The only odd thing was the power kept going out in the master bedroom/bathroom. Other than that, it was a 10!

“The view was fabulous, and we had a great time!” This was our third year at Kamaole Nalu but our first in #606. It is a very nice unit. We enjoyed the updated kitchen as we cooked in quite a bit. We recommended Kamaole Nalu to our daughter. Consequently, she and her family and our niece and her husband are staying in #606 at the end of June. It was a pleasant surprise to receive the very nice gift bag this year. We really enjoyed the treats. One of the best things about staying at Kamaole Nalu is Pat, the manager. “Fantastic Stay at Makena Surf” We would definitely return to this property, if not exact condo, at Maken Surf. Great location and ideal building on the big beach.Make sure you see the development plan so you pick the right building - it's worth being beachfront. And when the west coast was in the clouds, we were always sunny. Lovely beach, quiet with just the right amount of action close by. Easy drive to area shops and restaurants. Condo was ideal and services were terrific. If you are looking for beach and pool bar, resort services - this is not your place. There is a beach and pool but no blended drinks being served. But you'll spend three times the money for a hotel room versus having the luxury of spreading out at "home" with your family for meals, movie night and morning breakfast on the lanai. A much nicer way to go and then eat dinner in all the great restaurants. Who wants to shower and dress for breakfast anyway? I'd rather eat on the lanai and relax. The condo has everything you would want for a lovely stay from good bedding, spacious bathrooms,beach chairs, daily maid service, to streaming Netflix and fully stocked kitchen. Rent a car and you are all set.You won't want to leave and you feel more like you live there rather than just being another tourist. Oh and having a washer dryer in the unit was super convenient. Overall... a lovely spot.

“Perfect!!!” Our stay at Wailea Elua was absolutely great. Our accommodations were spacious and beautiful with a breathtaking view of the ocean. The grounds were remarkable with close access to beach and private sitting areas. The condo had everything you needed. The staff on hand were very accommodating. And close to shopping and restaurants.

“Clean and spacious with attentive service” This is a nice condo rental for Wailea. While the furnishings and mattresses are not that up to date, the cleanliness and location are very good. I found the kitchen in particular to have very good supplies. When I complained about the terrible coffee maker, it was replaced immediately. I should have complained during our stay instead of afterwards, and we might have been able to make good coffee while there. The cleaning service was very good. I would have appreciated a second set of beach towels as one set is not nearly enough for a beach vacation. I also would say that the master bedroom mattress was not supportive and is probably too old. This unit is on the row closest to the road so if your 2nd bedroom sleepers are light ones, they might be bothered by traffic noise. Overall this is a great condo village to stay at, but these units are old and you are paying for proximity to the beach, not high end units.

“Our Best Vacation to Date” We had a wonderful time in Maui and truly enjoyed our condo at Wailea Ekolu. The views of the ocean were amazing (whale watching from our lanai). We really appreciated that we were in a quiet location but still close to all the action. There were 4 adults and 2 children in the condo and we had plenty of room. Ali'i Resorts took care of us-we had a issue with the microwave not working on the first day and they had a replacement there within hours. The unit was very clean and the resort staff were always friendly and accommodating (whether it be answering questions about Maui or booking excursion or just bringing some extra toilet paper). We checked out other beaches but found ourselves always coming back to Wailea Beach- the best one for us- great snorkelling and waves for boogie boarding as well as easy access (about a 10-15 min walk from the condo). Can't wait to return.

“great location and views” awesome location, views, and accommodations. book early because from that calendar on the owners link it fills up fast. just an fyi when you arrive there is underground parking that i have noticed people don't realize. as in any vrbo please leave some pass it forward things. i left some spices, boggie board and a large fan. aloha.

“Well equipped and maintained, comfortable and easy access to beach, food and shopping.” This was my second stay at this lovely 1 BR condo in Kihei and I enjoyed it even more. The location is great, just across S Kihei Rd from the beach at the north end of Kamaole Beach #1. You can walk on the beach all the way to Ulua Beach if you want. The place is amazingly well equipped. All you need to cook and toys for the beach. This time, I even discovered two yoga mats in covers and two yoga blocks to go with them. Perfect for home yoga or taking them to the beach yoga classes that sometime happen. It is also possible to walk to good food and even the grocery store. The building has a great pool for afternoon cooling and laundry facilities are available on site. There is a bit of a view of the ocean from the lanai, but the general vista of palm trees and tropical vegetation in the neighboring buildings was quite nice. Never used the AC, screens and fans kept things comfortable. Finally the electronics were great, big screen and lots of music and video service choices.

“Home away from home.” My third time staying at the condo. Love the location right next to the Whaler's Shops, great value and the beautiful beach just a few steps away from your balcony. Every time I call Larry to make my reservations he is very courteous and helpful. Always a great vacation!!!

“Amazing, Spectacular, Beautiful and Highly recommended!” We arrived at night to Kona View and just the drive there was awesome! Once we arrived we were greeted by Randy and atsumi. The house was lit up and we could see the infiniti pool and some of the beautiful vegetation in front of the house. The house was clean and bright and modern. Our first morning at Kona View Estates was quiet and we had fresh Kona ground coffee delivered hot to us by Randy. The next 12 days were full of rest and relaxation and its finest! We will definitely be returning next year if we can!!!

“Beautiful Ocean Front Townhouse” My family and I enjoyed staying at Keauhou Kona #5 Townhouse. The Townhome was very well maintained. The two-story unit was very stylish with new granite countertops. We very much enjoyed the lanai and being so close to the ocean. The beach was not crowded and we saw turtles everyday. What I liked best about the location was that we felt isolated from all the traffic, yet there many nice restaurants, grocery stores and shopping malls close to the townhouse. “Wonderful vacation at Elua Village” We stayed in Unit 702 in Elua Village in Wailea. The location was wonderful, you could see the sunset from the balcony and even sitting on the sofa in the living room. The condo was very comfortable and spacious. We had two lanai's and were able to grill out and sit comfortably on the lanai. The location was so close to the pool and very close to the walkway along the ocean. Everything about the condo and the location was perfect. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils and the seating at the dining room was great. I hope we are able to go again and we will definetely stay in Unit 702. The Vitello's

“Family Vacation Paradise” We had our second family vacation stay in the Haleakala Suite and loved it! Tom and Vicki's attention to detail made our vacation so easy and enjoyable. We love the beautiful surroundings, furnishings, and serene atmosphere away from the bustling tourist areas. Yet it's still only a short drive to the beach and excellent restaurants like Mama's Fish House and Hali'imaile General Store. We also spent mornings and evenings in making our own breakfasts and grilling dinners on the patio. The kitchen had everything we needed to make nice home-cooked meals. We made good use of the beach supplies like the cooler, beach towels, and sand bucket. :) Our time at Bamboo Valley Inn was cherished time - especially our daughter getting to visit Tom and Vicki's horse each morning. We're sure this will be a fond memory for her, and we plan to visit again as often as we can. Don't miss out on this gem of a vacation home!

“In the Top 3!” We have been coming to Maui for over 30 years. In that time, we have stayed in many different condos and Ohanas(private cottages). This unit was definitely in our top 3. The location was perfect! We could easily walk out our door to grocery stores & post office or restaurants. The unit was a little more spacious than most. They have upgraded the kitchen & bathroom, doing an excellent job on the nice big shower. Being located on the ground floor, with a spacious lanai, & near the BBQs, offered us the opportunity to host a couple of gatherings for 10-12 people. The unit is pretty well stocked with almost anything you"ll need. We loved the king size bed and and the matching furnishings. Having a safe for our valuables was an added & well appreciated bonus.The grounds are well kept, with an excellent swimming pool and outdoor kitchen area. The beach is only a block away. The owners are very responsive to any problem that we had. There were only 2 negatives that we found but which we managed to work around. The w/d are not in the unit. Luckily, they are located right outside the door and there was a change machine at the pool, which helped immensely. The laundry so close, made it less of an inconvenience than we thought it would be & we were there for 6 wks, so we did do laundry. The most negative thing is that this complex bills itself as a nonsmoking complex but has no bylaws to enforce No Smoking on residents who choose to smoke on their lanais. All guests seem to follow the rules and restricted their smoking to the designated Smoking Areas. Unfortunately, the owner/neighbor next to us, even after implored by both the owners and ourselves to please not smoke because it drifted directly into our unit, persisted in doing so and was not reasonable when approached. Luckily, this will not deter us from returning to this unit. We had a mostly wonderful stay and sincerely look forward to more stays in the near future and for years to come.

“Truely a wonderful time, morning, noon and night.” We were here two weeks, we loved our home on the beach. We would definitely stay in 329 again, we went walking on the beach everyday, twice a day. It was clean, and the maids came in once a week to change your linens for you. The best is waking up in the morning, having a cup of coffee and watching the whales you can see from your lanai. Great for a couple who wants a quiet get away together. Only complaint I have is it needs a new couch. Other than that you'll love it.

“Sugar Beach Best” This is an awesome condo. I just wish there was more availability! Other owners at Sugar Beach should take notice of the remodel. If you haven't updated, you really should! The bathrooms at Sugar Beach are so small and if they aren't renovated, the experience is not great. Love the lightness of the paned doors for the bedroom. Many of the Sugar Beach bedrooms feel like caves. This one is light and bright. Plus, a TV in the bedroom. Bonus!!
