“Stunning view, spacious luxurious villa.” We stayed at villa Leana in Jan 2015 with a large group. The villa is awesome with stunning view from dining and living room making the stay very memorable. Each bedroom is massive, the bathroom is so spacious and the beds are so comfortable. The pool is a bit small for us as we had 11-12 people all swimming at the same time but we had fun regardless. There's no shallow part for kids unfortunately. But my kids all brought swimming floaties so it's fine. But the view from the pool made up for the size as it was absolutely stunning from up there. Relaxing on the lazy beach chair was great! The hosts are so friendly and they all speak English well. They welcomed us in the middle of the night and send us off at dawn with a smile. They were always very willing to do whatever we asked. The bedroom gets cleaned daily. There's fresh pool towel whenever we come home in the evening and we never got any complaint about the noise we made while swimming at midnight. Breakfast is typical Aussie breakfast but they're well prepared including toasts bacon eggs sausages fruits and cereals. We ordered fried rice for breakfast and A few of us had a small lunch at the villa consisting of satay rice gado2 and fried chicken and the food were delicious and only costs us a fraction of the shop's pricing. Distance from the main road is not too far as well. We stayed in the same area not long ago but it was further and more isolated. So for the view we get, the villa distance is fairly good. On the way to the villa there are plenty of nice street food (martabak, satay, etc) and restaurants worth visiting such as Fat Chow and the 'martabak' pop up shop outside Warung satay club. Overall we were very happy with our stay and would highly recommend villa Leana.

“Tranquil relaxing paradise awaits you” You are welcomed to Bali with a smile and sign Villa Samsara at the airport then wisked away to this tranquil haven. Then you are greeted by EKa what can we say. Eka has made this trip a delight with a friendly smile breakfast every day and all the chores done wow love this. Get Eka to make you dinner amazing. The villa has everything you need down to the finest detail and after a long day in the hustle and bustle you can then relax by the 16 m pool and gardens with a G & T in hand. Location is great amongst the rice paddies and the beach 1km walk away. This is a surf beach but easy beach walk to Seminyak. Canggu deli and 3 restaurants at your door step. “Very authentic Ubud living from hospitable host” In our week's stay in Bali, Ubud was the 2nd destination and we loved it. No doubt Ubud is known for it's art works and culture and agung had made sure that his villa resembles the very essence of it. The villa is located right at the south-west edge of Ubud and is not the easiest place to be found. On the way, one can find all the marvelous wood carved artifacts on the village streets. The villa was built away from the main street in a quieter area with greeneries all around. It's amazing to find so much of trees around, yet there was not much of an issue with bugs/insects/mosquitoes. The kitchen is located just besides the cool private pool where we could enjoy the evening with some drinks and delicious local dishes. If you're interested in local cuisines, check out "Soka Kitchen" who had served the best authentic Balinese dishes at a very reasonable price (they also have home delivery which is even more convenient). None of the rooms got any aC, but Ubud is rather cooler compared to other parts of Bali and so we felt rather comfortable with the stand fans. Agung was extremely helpful all the way and gave us 1st hand experience of the local attractions and culture of Ubud. He himself had taken us around Ubud with visits to Monkey forest, the museums, art galleries, the spectacular rice fields. Pity we didn't have enough time to check out the Balinese dance or religious rituals in the local temples. A walk around the village in the morning breathing the fresh air and greeted with smiling locals is an unique experience and I'd suggest if you're looking for a trip to Bali, spend a few days in Ubud. Agung's villa can provide all amenities at a reasonable price for a family vacation.

“Great Location, Price and Great Holiday in Bali!” We have been to Bali on several family holidays but never stayed at a villa before but always will from now on! We were picked up at the airport and then greeted by Kadek the staff at the villa even though after midnight with welcome drinks and a couple of things we requested waiting for us! The villa was really comfortable and much less than other villas which was important for us for a holiday on a budget. The kids loved the pool and the villa was well equipped with everything we needed. Kadek the housekeeper was great and always had everything clean even if the kids made a mess! Steve the owner helped out by making everything easy and organising some drivers and tours which we very recommend Wayan for as he was brilliant! Thanks so much also for the gift for our childrens birthday it made it a special birthday in Bali for Emily :) See you all again soon!

“Bohemian Hideaway” First off let me say that Boyd is a great host! He answered all of our questions and made the process of renting his Villa super easy. After we arrived he helped us with coordinating car rentals and also gave us tips on where to go. He's been in Bali for so long and knows the island really well. From restaurants to clubs to sightseeing he's a great resource. Second, the location of Villa Bohemia is awesome. It's off the main road but set back enough that you have a very quiet and serene environment. Easy to find and perfect cause it is central to everything. Plus, there is a big 24 hour convenience store within 5 minutes walking distance so you never run out of supplies. Getting a taxi is super easy too, cause the main street is full of them. We went to Kuta for less than 3 dollars. Third, price is great for the value you get. There is a small pool with a waterfall, nice kitchen, beautiful garden and patio area. The bedrooms are spacious and the a/C is cool. Tv is nice and so is the stereo system. Place is super clean and marble floors aren't too shabby! It's really well decorated and feels cozy comfortable and upscale all at the same time. Overall our 1 week stay at Villa Bohemia was wonderful. Thank you Boyd and we had a wonderful trip and

“Your own piece of Paradise and truly amazing place to stay” Villa Maju was truly amazing. This was my first time travelling from Melbourne to Bali to attend my Daughters Wedding and I was very anxious about going. After several telephone conversations and reassurance from the owner Mary who lives in Sydney I am so glad I booked this Villa. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left the wonderful staff treated us like royalty and also welcomed my daughters & partners who also visited the Villa daily as if they were also paying guests. I would like to make a special mention to the staff Wayan, Welan, Tinny, Rai & Mardi (the security man) who went way and above to ensure our stay was one of the most memorable holiday's I have ever had. The respect the staff have for Mary the owner is truly amazing and Mary is very lucky to have such loyal staff to work for her. I would highly recommend to indulge in the Barbecue dinner and the highlight for me was the Teppanyaki which is prepared and cooked by Wayan & Welan who made it such a special night to treasure for ever. I really only left the Villa to attend my Daughters Wedding and to be honest why would you want to leave such a beautiful place anyway. The Villa's facilities were more then you could dream for and the garden was full of beautiful tropical flowers. I would highly recommend Villa Maju to anyone and would like to thank Mary for all your help and you are so lucky to have such a wonderful place to call home.

“Your own Private Oasis.” Great location. 5 mins in a cab to the heart of Seminyak if you do decide to leave the Villa. Amazing Villa to relax and enjoy massages, great beer (Bintang) and food. The staff were very friendly and attentive yet gave you enough space to truly relax. Highly recommend.

“Fantastic property - fantastic staff” This is our second stay at makasih Bidadari and highly recommend this villa. Both times were family holidays, 3 adult couples. Each bedroom is very spacious and very large bathrooms each with a separate large bath and large walk in showers. The downstairs bedroom and the guest house also have a both indoor and outdoor showers. With one bed upstairs with large outdoor area with lounge and balcony, one bed downstairs and the third bed in the separate guest house this villa is ideal for 3 couples as you have plenty of your own space. A large lounge and kitchen with added bonus of being able to close off if required by very easy to operate aluminium doors and two air conditioners. All appliances, glasses etc that you would require. The pool is huge, and has beautiful gardens both are well maintained. The staff are probably the best asset, so willing to help with anything, from booking restaurants and helping us buy groceries. Nengah is a fabulous cook and we enjoyed our breakfast each day. Nothing is too much trouble and there is staff at the villa 24 hours a day. we felt very safe and secure. Although for those not familiar with Bali the villa may seem a little far out as on the other side of sunset road, however we could easily walk to Eat st or bintang supermarket. Taxis are are easy to get and a very nice small restaurant very close. Overall a fantastic place to stay and exactly as photos appear. Well maintained property. Thanks to Nengah, Made, Wayan and Made for looking after us . Will be back next year!!
