“A unique locatio” Lovely countryside in unique Tatton Park. Everyone should be aware of the proximity of Manchester airport. Well furnished... living room furniture a little tired. Irritatingly, towels are not provided. What do people who travel from (say) the USa who do not have relatives living close do?

“The cottage-complete with facilities pass made a most enjoyable” Excellent service with warm comfortable furnishings were most appreciated. Superb location for really exploring tattoo park, local historic houses and gardens. Sadly, poor weather and local floods rather restricted what we first planned to do.

“Good Value for money” A lovely well equipped cottage in a quiet rural location. Very clean and cosy. Watched the cows every morning and evening on their daily commute to be milked - a lovely treat if you are a townie.

“Ideal family country cottage” Perfect location for exploring the surrounding area, within sight of The Roaches; Reservoir, Adventure Playground and good food served at the Lazy Trout Pub, all within walking distance. The cottage was ideal for our family of 12 ranging from 18mths to over 60! A warm welcome was given by the owners, nothing was too much trouble, everything we needed was availble. A thoroughly enjoyable weekend, celebrating a 40th Birthday, even the weather was on our side!

“Wonderful restful holiday cottage” This cottage has everything you could possibly need. It really is a home from home. My son enjoyed the fishing very much and it was easy to keep an eye on him from the cottage. There are so many things to see and do. Close to many beautiful areas for walking and exploring. Shops are not too far away. Lots of nice pubs in the area to eat out .. we managed to eat out every day! We had a totally relaxing holiday, going somewhere different every day and relaxing in the evening. Highly recommended.

“Superb cottage.” Such a lovely cottage, well fitted out with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The view from the lounge and patio is beautiful over to Mam Tor and the surrounding area of the dark peak district and the walled garden is very private.

“Stunning location and comfortable accommodation” We experienced a most relaxing week in stunning surroundings. The owners were most helpful and accommodating. They were also most reassuring when faced with our vehicle being snowed in for 5 days and arranged for local farming friends to plough an escape route. We are looking forward to returning in the future.

Very hilly - not suitable for older visitor or with young children in my view. No car access. Dog friendly location. Excellent pub up the hill

“Peaceful relaxing location away from all the hustle and bustle.” The owners were nice and friendly and very helpful if you wanted to know anything about the surrounding areas and where to do sightseeing and places of interest to visit. The only drawback is that there was no shops nearby if you wanted to buy a newspaper or run out of milk or bread. Bridgenorth is the nearest town and it has some nice shops and tearooms.

“Beautiful location, perfect cottage, true relaxation - bliss!” The cottage was first class, cosy and suited our needs completely. The owners were extremely welcoming and provided us with information about the area. Literature was also available in the cottage. The cottage had every implement you could wish for when cooking. We were fortunate enough to stay the last week in March when the country had very hot weather - early mini heatwave! We left the car most days and walked the Dales Way, over stiles, through the sheep and met lots of locals to chat with. Ilkley was lovely, beer cheap in Weatherspoons! We have already booked again for next year!

“Wow what a find!” Our party consisted of mother, 92 and the kids, 68 and 58 and a very large dog who made himself at home immediately. The bungalow was very spacious. Fitted out to a high standard and spotlessly clean. The enclosed garden was ideal for our dog or for children to play safely in. It is located only a very short walk to the park,town and shopping. Matlock is situated in an excellent position for exploring Derbyshire. Bakewell and Chatsworth are a must. The access to the lane the bungalow is obscure and tight. Care needs taking turning in and out onto the busy main road. Once at property parking and turning for cars good and despite proximity to main road it is surprisingly quiet and peaceful. The garden was very spacious but could be awkward for anyone with disabilities. There are a few little steps to different levels and pathways narrow though Mum managed well taking care. Wheelchair access would be difficult into the property. Had a lovely stay, wish it had been for longer. Will definitely go again and have already recommended the bungalow to my friends.

“My ideal holiday cottage.” Perfect. A beautiful and very well appointed cottage. Underbank Hall Cottage was a the perfect base for my week long holiday. Clean, tidy, and everything I could have needed was on hand. A very welcome "welcome tray" was waiting on my arrival. The added bonus was that I could take the dog as well. I really look forward to another stay during 2014.

“Location, location, location” Lovely house, well equipped, very comfortable, in a near perfect High Peaks location. Loved it! Kitchen and bedrooms (all en suite) were great, pleasant walk to village of Edale, great circular walks from the house. Minor niggle, had to go outside to pick up the wi-fi from the farmhouse. Took some finding when we arrived.
