“Pet-Friendly Destingation” As a 'Pet-Blogger', I am always looking for great places to holiday with our two dogs Henry, and Reese. More specifically, somewhere we can 'enjoy' with the dogs without having to worry about what to do with them when we visit restaurants, shops or go sightseeing. The Dolphin Inn was the perfect place to stay! This trip was arranged as a group get together; my husband, parents, in-laws and sister with her husband and two small children. The spacious accommodation meant no one felt as if they were tripping over one another. Although we didn't eat evening meals as a group, we enjoyed breakfast together at a large table located beside the spacious kitchen on the upper level. Because of the layout and quiet location of the Inn, we were comfortable leaving Henry and Reese to relax comfortably when we went out to do 'people only' things. Our hosts were very helpful with suggestions regarding things to do and see in the area. Upon arrival we found guides with locations and contact information, as well as preferred rates on several activities for guests of the Inn. I am happy to recommend The Dolphin Inn to groups or families with or without dogs!

“Fun vacation for all” Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Nena's Nook. House lovely (only complaint some dishes and baking pans were put away still dirty), location perfect, lots of activities. Kids ages 13 thru 23 all loved it. The keyless entry/ no check in/out feature was sooo convenient.

“Excellent! We love the house and the beach.” We have been renting this house every year for 9+ years. The location is perfect, the views are wonderful and there is enough room for everyone. It is right across the street from the beach, which makes the view fabulous and it has a wonderful pool and entertainment area downstairs with a pool table. The latest upgrades on the pool-deck and TVs are perfect! We look forward to another 10 years of summer vacations at Sea Spirit!!

“A Classy Vacation Experience in any Season” My brother, who has problems walking, and I stayed at Sunnybank for a little under a week in the early spring when the Corolla horses are foaling. The layout of the well-appointed, three-storey main building was perfect for our needs: the fabulous view from the top floor living room provided the inspiration for him to walk up the grand stair case, and he could take the elevator when he was having problems walking. (There are two bedrooms with walk-in showers to accommodate people who have a problem walking.) It rained the first two days, which might have been gloomy any where else, but the library of videos, and stashes of games and playing cards gave us the opportunity to connect in ways that we hadn't since we were children. The fabulous cook's kitchen and multiple eating areas can accommodate a wedding party, family reunion, or any get away time one might want. Mine was a working vacation and the office there, which is outfitted with excellent Ethernet and WiFi connections plus a daybed for napping, was a better arrangement than my office at home. Comfort and casual, yet classy ambience abounds at Sunnybank. An excellent find!

“Relaxing with the family” Carolina Breeze is a great family environment. The beach is 100 yards away and the bay is a block away. We went to the amusement area which is within walking distance. We spent more time at the pool and in the hot tub which is delightful. The house is really in a great area.

“What a great experience my family had on our first trip to Nags” Beachcomber's Paradise was truly a wonderful place to spend a family vacation. “Wonderful location in Duck” This home is very and welcoming. Great location in Duck. A 2 minute stroll to the beach and a 10 minute walk to Duck. Our family enjoyed the community pool and workout room which is a big plus!!! We walked daily to Duck for either a nice stroll or dinner!! The house very well maintained and comfortably fits 10 people with bunks for more!!!

“Great! location, amenities, accomdations. Everything you need fo” This was our third year at "Just for You" and that's exactly what it feels like, Just for Us! We love the little extras, the pool, hot tub and Pool Table and enjoy the large living areas and family spaces.There are also plenty of nooks for personal space and time apart. “Lovely southern home with all amenities” This is the second time I have stayed at Saltaire and is the first time with my husband and son. What a terrific time it was. This place is just incredible. From the private pool and hot tub to a massive "man cave" complete with pool table, foosball, darts and more. My husband turned into a kid again playing with my son into the wee hours of the morning. Above all else, because Saltaire is pet-friendly, we were able to take our two Porties with us who made those long walks on the beach the absolute best. I can't recommend Saltaire enough if you are looking for an exquisite place to "call home" while on vacation in the Outer Banks!

“Overall Impressed” We have rented this property before, fine walk to the beach! private pool is the best! one small suggestion, because it is a pet friendly home, i would suggest to steam clean the carpet prior to each guest, due to some guests having pet allergies.

“Very nice property and a good value for the area” We had 18 people at the house and there was plenty of everything: space, seating, recreation. Although, not on the beach, the walk to the beach was short, straight walk to the walkway. The dunes in this area are quite high, and there are quite a few steps to tackle. Nice beach. Would definetly recommend the Tropical Dream. The service from the rental company, Outerbanks Blue was great

“Oct 2012 Vacation” We have stayed in this house previously when it was only 2 years old. It is a great house with lots of room and amenities. We had a wonderful time here and would love to return. However, there were a few things that could be improved upon. There were some cleaning issues which could easily be taken care of. There were also some torn screens that could easily be taken care of. The tvs and electronics were outdated and the dvd player wouldn't work with them. These could be updated inexpensively, considering the price of an in-season rental. The most pressing issues with the house was the stove. One of the burners didn't work and the oven door did not close tight. This issue cause the fire alarm to go off repeatedly when using the oven. As you can imagine, it wasn't the easiest job to cook for 11 people with these problems. All in all, if these problems were addressed directly, we would love to stay here again. The location is excellent. Close to everything we wanted to do and you had the beach all to yourself!!

“Fabulous layout of the house. Great pool” The house layout was wonderful for a big family like ours. It does need some updates such as: carpet, sliding doors, stove. It was clean and wonderful. The pool was the best feature to this house. We also enjoyed the deck on the top level. We did have a problem with the air conditioner the last evening we were there. Upon calling the numbers given to us, we were told that there were three calls ahead of us and that they probably would not be able to attend to our problem. Really? Other than that the service was fine.

“Wonderful beach vacation” This was a great home that was so very close to the beach. Beautiful home that was equipped with everything. The family had a wonderful time. The pool was so much bigger than I expected. We also liked the fact that it was dog friendly. A very nice touch was that the owner contacted us the second day we were there to see if everything was okay. I would certainly rent this beautiful home again!!!

“Our vacation was awesome!” Outer Banks Blue is an awesome company to deal with. The house was ready on time; it was neat and clean. When a problem arose with the hot tub, Outer Banks Blue was on it and had it fixed as soon as possible. The house fit our needs perfectly. We were very pleased. This was our first visit to the Outer Banks, and we look forward to many more.

“Perfect beach getaway” We had such a wonderful weekend staying at B's dream. The house was decorated beautifully, easy to navigate, pretty & safe neighborhood, easy beach access, updated appliances & tvs, harris teeter close by, close to restaurants/shopping/golf but more private & less crowded than nags head or kitty hawk. The beach was gorgeous. It was truly the best beach weekend we have had in a long time and we would love to come back again in the future. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

“Our family had a wonderful time at Ivey's Lair” We had eigt adults and eight children from 3 months to eighteen years old. There was never a boring moment and everyone had plenty of room in the house. Whad a week that was in the high 90s, but we loved every minute of it. The 4th of July parade went right by the house, fireworks went off on the beach that were pretty prfessional for the area's private viewing and everyone did as they pleased during the day ( pool, beach, town, pool table, volleyball, or just relaxed) and we all had dinner together or went out. When we go to the house there were a few minor things that had to be taken care of: the gas grill was not there, the outside pool lights were not working, and some inside lights did not work. We called and everything was taken care within two days. The only thing that needs to be address are the two dishwashers. They do not clean the dishes. We wound up doing them by hand. I am not sure if the water is not hot enough for the machines or what. We did not report it, but they now know and I am sure it will be fixed. We can't wait to go back!!!
