“Best relaxing family holiday villa!” We spent a fabulous and relaxing 10 days here in January with our 2 boys aged 5 and 3, and my sister-in-law. The villa was beautiful, with large rooms, kingsize beds, rustic balinese decor with a very large mature, landscaped garden which was perfect for us as the kids had plenty of space to explore. Particularly important for us, was that the twin room adjoined one of the master bedrooms - making it all possible for a family with young kids. The infinity pool overlooking the terraced rice-paddies was beautiful and significantly bigger than I'd expected. The view gave the villa a sense of space you wouldn't get otherwise. We could easily spend all day at 'home' and not feel hemmed in. The kids spent hours in the pool everyday and the shallow, toddler's section at one end was particularly useful for our 3yo. The staff, Kadek and Iwan, bent over backwards to help in any way and became firm friends with us and the kids during our stay. They happily helped us to buy groceries, bintangs for the fridge, bunkus (takeaways) of nasi campur, ordered food for us from local restaurants, did our laundry, called us taxis and booked us massages whenever we asked. Kadek made sure she cooked us the biggest breakfasts ever - of bacon and eggs, nasi goreng, fruit platters and the kids' favourites - banana pancakes (which they had everyday!). Kadek and our nanny also trekked far and wide to purchase us a last minute birthday cake for our youngest who turned 3 during our stay. This was overall a great experience for us - a bit of luxury away from home, where we felt totally 'at home'. Thank you! We would definitely consider staying here again.

“Peaceful jungle hideaway” Villa Damee is remote enough to feel like you are in a slice of your own private jungle heaven, yet is still an easy drive to the attractions of Ubud. You have to walk across a little path over the rice paddies to get to the villa, which is so pretty and quite good fun! The villa itself is architecturally impressive and interesting. The furniture and interior design is interesting and beautiful. The house has two double bedrooms so ideal for our party (two couples). The kitchen and dining areas are spacious and fun for partying in. The bathrooms are semi-open so only come here if you are OK with the occasional bug! The pool gets a lot of shade - because the property is almost hewn into the hillside underneath the rice paddies, hence it is totally surrounded by luscious greenery. Bird-watching and simply sitting in silence and enjoying the peace was blissful. You can occasionally hear the neighbourhood gamelan practice in the evenings. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful - Ketut, Wayan and the rest of the team - thank you! Also the owners were very helpful and polite and accommodating during the booking process. I think, if I had just one area to be hypercritical, the food could be SLIGHTLY improved. But it's still great for the price and it's lovely to have the staff prepare your meals as you relax by the pool. We enjoyed massages and fresh coconuts all at our leisure at home. Overall it was also very good value. Definitely recommended!

“Great Villa in Ubud” Enjoyed our xmas stay here at this Villa. The Villa's are setup well for relaxing in Ubud. Sitting in the pool and watching the scenery is great. Max and his staff are very accommodating and will help you book the attractions in the area. The villa is a about 20 minute drive to the Ubud township so being away from the crowds and in the rice fields is the appeal here. All of the attractions however will do pickups for free which is a good way to get into Ubud town. Cheers

“Great villa with nice view at sunset in Bali see” We spend 11 nights at villa Mente and enjoyed the luxury of the villa, the pool and it's staff. “Your private paradise with large pool and seaview at Bali.” We have stayed for a week at the villa and it was really a 5 star experience. Villa Bersama has is a very spacious accomodation with 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a large pool and situated at the beach. Add to this the excellent staff who cleans, cooks and does the laundry. Chief Ketut makes all kind of delicious local dishes. A driver is available at a reasonable rate and the villa is guarded 24/7. There is a lot of interesting things to do and to see in the environment and our highlight was our private "taxi ride" to the dolphins at sea. We were picked up in front of the villa at sea by a local fisherman who took us to dolphins. We saw hundreds of them, a breathtaking experience!

“Definitely great place to stay in north Bali, highly recommended!!!"” Very beautiful villa, with very big swimming pool, with amazing view at sea. Villa was in very calm area. Fantastic place to stay during visit in Bali. Also staf was very helpful and kind, give us info about everything we asked. Maid prepared very good breakfast everyday and when we asked and pay for groceries, they also prepare very tasty lunch or dinner. Villa was maintained in very clean condition. Also in villa is everything you need if you want to prepare meals for yourself. Definitely great place to stay north Bali, highly recommended!!!"

“A different view of Bali” What can i say about Villa Bayu except MAGNIFICENT. From the booking process to the airport pick up everything was wonderful. When we arrived it only got better. The view and Villa itself were stunning. We have been to bali over 20 times but have never had this experience. The lovely staff made our trip memorable with their kind and caring personality, the ladies even show my daughter and I how to make some Sate, Mmm delicious. Our driver fast became our friend, what a lovely man and expert driver. I simply can't say enough Great things about our stay. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to see the lovely Lovina. “My little dream home in Penestanan” When I think of the thousands of homes and villas available for rent in Bali, I still don't know how We got lucky enough to find this particular one. Hyacinth House was everything We had wanted it to be and more. It is a place that you love more and more every day until it gets to the point that you have no idea how you're ever going to leave. We fell in love with the house and then we fell in love with the staff. Our beautiful Ketut we miss you so very much. Your wonderful breakfasts, the way you kept the house so beautiful and clean, the way you watched over us and cared for us...these are the things we will never forget. Pia..you are a darling girl, so bright, so clever..thank you for everything you did for us and Made your quiet grace is utterly charming. Thank you all so much. Every day we would wander off exploring and I can't tell you how wonderful it was to return to lovely clean house. The bedroom upstairs OMG!!! It's just beautiful!! The outdoor shower down stairs won us over from day one and we never once used the other bath and shower. One night it rained and I still chose the outdoor shower...it's just so invigorating. We went in August / the weather was divine...in a 12 night stay we only put the overhead fan on two or three times. Penestanan gets the most beautiful breezes. If you want a place to chill out, just relax and enjoy, pull up a chair, take a nap on the day bed or a swim in the pool then Hyacinth House is for you. If you want adventure put your shoes on and go for a walk...everything's there! Want to eat out?...there are many places close by, we went to the local cafes all the time. The Elephant Cafe, Lala & Lili, The yellow Flower Cafe...So many to choose from. Ibu Putu's Warung( our favourite,) is two minutes from your door. Want to sit around and have a chat..the outdoor living area will suit you just fine...we loved sitting there with our early morning coffees. We adored this little house and will be returning in 2015. Until then stay safe Ketut, Pia and Made., may the Bali Gods smile on you every day until we meet again.:)
