“our favorite home away from home!” We've been coming to Prince Edward Island for 16 years now and since discovering Riverbank Vacation Home, we have made it our home away from home. From the time we arrive, Pam and Terry Macaulay make us feel like we belong. As true Islanders, they are warm, generous and genuine. They make you feel very welcome with kind smiles, fresh bread and a beautiful, immaculately clean home filled with all you need to be comfortable. We enjoy making home cooked meals and barbecues with fresh food from the Farmer's Market in Charlottetown , canoe rides on the river, sunsets, stars at night, firepit evenings and sunny days on the beach. Nearby are many things we have enjoyed with our four children - watching the tuna fishermen come in on North Lake, the kids jump off the bridge and into the water when we go to Basin Head, we enjoy Fiddlers' Sons and other musicians at Poole's Corner, had a great dinner at the Inn at Bay Fortune and use it as our base when exploring Charlottetown, Rustico and other areas of the Island. The area was home to Elmer Harris, Colleen Dewhurst and many artists when they were alive, it has a special feel. It is quiet but not far from activity if you should want to see more. Many birds, wildflowers and friendly people are found here. We highly recommend Riverbank Vacation Home and can't wait to return.

“Pampered tranquility” Simply the best accommodations we've experienced in years. The ambiance created by Sebastian and Jennifer's fine touch transported us to another, gentler time. The most modern amenities are provided, in excellent order and function, yet the atmosphere is nurturing and from a kinder time.The kitchen has every device necessary for an accomplished chef, the bedrooms replete for guests of all ages, the views spectacular, and the generous living space tastefully whimsical. We found the nearby dining and shopping in Montague and Georgetown excellent. Trout fishing was good and we were alone on the stream. Can think of no deficiencies. No doubt we'll return.

“Very enjoyable stay and Howe Bay Beach House” This is a beautifull property at a wonderful location. We stayed with 5 adults and 5 childres and loved it. There is plenty of space with fantastic views. Our only regret is that we were only able to stay for 3 days. We would have loved to stay longer. The service was excellent.

“Wonderful accommodation” My partner and I stayed at this location for four nights, and loved it. This is a self-contained efficiency apartment, with everything convenient and well planned. The kitchen is fully equipped and easy to use. This is a bright, cheerful place, very clean, and welcoming. The views from the windows look out over farmers' fields. It was delightful and we were reluctant to leave. We would definitely recommend it to anyone, and will come back when we are in PEI. We are cyclists and found that Victoria is a good place to cycle out and back from. The rides are easy and scenic along the coast. Cycling inland is challenging, but the roads are quiet and drivers very friendly. Jeanne and Susan are wonderful hosts and gave us fresh beans and onions from their garden.

“Nice cottage, great beach Beautiful Island” Had a great trip to PEI. Stayed in a few cottage. All were nice. Kids loved the beach playing between the sandbars. Nice to have WIFI
