“Comfortable Two Bedroom Flat in the Heart of Lisbon's Bairro alt” We loved this place. My girlfriend and I met up with my brother and his girlfriend in Lisbon. We stayed for 3 nights here and loved it. The gentleman who rented the place, Luis, was very friendly. He greeted us at the flat with a bottle of wine and local pastries. The place was spacious and in the heart of the most happening place in Lisbon. People who stay in the downtown area (as my mother and her boyfriend did) miss out on the real Lisbon -- and do so at twice the cost! There were cafes and restaurants and sights to see all around the neighborhood. The famous Bica Funicular is literally right outside the door. Inside the flat, there was a washing machine, plenty of lines to hang clothes to dry, a large refrigerator, full bathroom and kitchen, and two good size rooms. There was cable TV too! As for negatives, at night it stayed noisy well past 2 am, but we both expected and enjoyed the livelihood. Also, I'm a traveler with a disability, and there was no lift to the flat, stairs only. However I knew this going in, it wasn't a shock, and I can climb stairs with my walking sticks. But overall, the minor ding to the Comfort rating was, on balance, far overwhelmed by the positives of Value, Location, and Service. We highly recommend this place.

“Excellent Location - Very Spacious” A group of 6 of us (3 newlywed couples) stayed in this unit for 3 nights in May 2015. The location was perfect, with Cais do Sodre station and market just a couple of blocks away, Pink Street just around the corner, restaurants/cafe downstairs, and a grocery store right across the street. The apartment is very spacious and nicely decorated, with 3 bedrooms, a living room, and a large kitchen with a dining area. The bed my husband and I slept in was comfortable, and although I haven't asked my friends about their beds, I didn't hear any complaints from them about the other rooms. All the appliances were in great working order and we were lucky to have the washer and dryer at our disposal. There were two bathrooms, one full and one 3/4, that came in handy since there were 6 of us. The only issue was that the hot water ran out after 4 people showered in the morning, so the other 2 were left with cold water. As the building is older, this was to be expected and we easily solved this by staggering the showers between morning and night. I cannot say enough good things about the hosts. They were so accommodating from our odd arrival time/late departure to all the recommendations given for sights to see, places to eat, fado bars, etc. They left a welcome bottle of wine for us too. The host was so gracious she even set up reservations for us at a local Goan (Indian) restaurant after we told her that one person in our party was particularly interested in trying a Goan restaurant while in Lisbon. That meal ended up being the best one during our trip, and the restaurant chef catered to us personally. What a lovely experience! Also, payment was easy as we made our deposit via paypal and paid the remainder of the amount due in cash upon arrival. I would stay here again if I end up taking another trip to Lisbon.

“Wonderful apartment, Wonderful Owner, Wonderful location” We were very comfortable in this very clean, well equipped, great location apartment! This location is a treasure! Every corner was a aha , oh my, and can you believe it! The owner Brigida was so warm and helpful!! If you need English hers is perfect! She helped us navigate the city and a trip to Fatima ( saving us at least 100 dollars) for a wonderful experience. We were ready for a "home" cooked meal after so many meals out...I was so impressed with the pantry provided! Just some fresh ingredients and it felt like home. When we return to Lisboa we will make sure it's when we can book this apartment!

New cozy and charming apartment in historic Alfama

“Great city trip and wondeful place to enjoy it!” We have juste spent 5 wonderful days in Lisbon with my wife and child. Using Tripadvisor, I discovered and rented the the appartement proposed by Isabel and João and the place was exactly like it is presented: cozy and charming, and in the very heart of alfalma which is for sure the place to stay for a few days in this facinating city. We were welcomed by Isabel on the first day, with a great smile, all the explanations required, and some biscuits plus a good bottle of wine in the fridge! The apartement is small but very quiet, perfectly equiped and comfortable. Perfect for three people. We even decided to stay there during some evening for preparing our dinner and relax after long walking days across the streets of Lisbon. We can just warmly recommend the place and for sure, one day we'll go back there!

“Great Holiday” We had a great holiday at the resort the pool area was beautiful and the pool bar kept us cool with both beverage and strawberry cheesecake ice cream .The apartment was really well equiped and had everthing we needed to enjoy our stay and the owners suggestion for Chicos restaurant was brilliant we ate there 4 nights out of the week.The portinho da arabida beach only 15 to 20 minutes drive away was breathtaking with miles of white sand beaches and warm sea we had a blast and will return.

“Light, bright apartment in fantastic location near the river and centre of things” Susana warmly welcomed us to the modern apartment about 5 minutes walk from the Train Station Cais do Sodre. The location couldn't be bettered, so close everything, the Mercado da Ribeira, a market by day and a smart Food Court by night, the river, the old town, the main Central Square and so much more. The apartment is located 2nd floor, on a corner beside a bicycle shop, entranced through an old fashioned door and several flights of stairs up. An entrance door reveals a wonderfully light, spacious, clean and fully serviced apartment. The four large windows positioned on two corners gives an opportunity to view the river and old Town.There is some construction work going on during the day as this area is being developed, but it doesn't effect anything. We were very happy coming 'home' to this apartment in the evenings, often after a day spent on the lovely beaches of Estoril and Cascais, about 30 mins journey by train. We would have no hesitation recommending this lovely apartment to anyone considering a visit to Lisbon either to see the sights, take in some sunshine on the beaches, or a combination of both.

“Lovely, charming apartment. Very comfortable and SO well equipped!” Very much enjoyed our stay here. Loved the area, the building and the space in this delightful apartment. It was immaculately appointed and we really appreciated the details - coffee and all essentials provided. Our host, Mario, was most welcoming and helpful. Lisbon is a beautiful city though a little tiring - so much walking! It was so good to have such a comfortable space to return to and recharge our batteries. Would certainly recommend!
