“Oasis in the city!” The anthony Quinn studio was perfect! Clean comfortable and quiet. Lynn was incredibly helpful when I emailed and she was very understanding about my need for some peace and quiet. (I moved from another location in SMa - that was a cacophony!) The view from the roof top deck was nice and the studio, itself, has a very light airy feel. There is some beautiful tile work in the bathrooms and around the fireplace.

“Perfect home away from home!” Both the Diego studio and the owner were absolute joys! The studio was a clean, comfortable, cozy, cool respite for relaxation after a hot day of walking in SMa. And the rooftop patio is a delightful bonus! This was my first time renting on Vrbo, and visiting SMa, and Lynn and her staff in SMa were wonderfully responsive to my many questions. Lynn also refunded the security deposit very promptly upon my return. What a joy! Thank you for a wonderful experience.

“1st Time in SMa - Now in our top 5 'Go-Back-To's'” San Miguel is amazing, at first, we had to acclimate to being treated so well by even folks on the street. We are hoping to go back each year, ideally for a longer period. For reference, we've lived in/near Toyko, Rome, Venezia for years and traveled from Cairo to Kobe, and nowhere was as easy going and welcoming as SMa. The apartment is located perfectly, well stocked, the staff are very helpful, the reservation process was easy, and Ms. Carlton (owner) has decorated very well - no skimping on the details or quality. The only thing we missed was our Lazy-boy recliners!

“A Wonderful Cosy apartment within a short 20 minute walk to El J” We have stayed at Casa Caracol in San Miguel de allende about 4 different times. We always occupied the small apartment on the first floor and on one or two occasions our friend rented the second bedroom and bath on the same level and shared the kitchen and living room with us. The house is located up a small hill and has a wonderful view of the city from the small balcony off the living room. The apartment is very cozy and easy to heat on chilly mornings. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom while small is perfectly adequate. The apartment comes with most everything that the vacationer would need and while the frig and stove were small we found that we did very little cooking in the apartment since there is an abundance of very reasonably priced restaurants within walking distance. The house is located about 20 minutes south of the town center (El Jardin) and about a 15 minute walk to Parque Juarez. It's simple to get to town by going down the hill, then taking a right on to Calle aldama and following it all the way into the center of town. We liked the location of Casa Caracol so well that we bought a lot nearby and built a house on it which was completed in 2007. We would highly recommend Casa Caracol for a single person or a couple who was looking for a well situated, comfortable, and reasonably priced apartment in San Miguel.
