“Found a new home...” Lois and I had all of March at the Seal Beach Guest House and from the moment we arrived it felt like we'd found a new home. It's a cozy, comfortable hideaway where you can see the ocean from the deck, hear it too when the waves are up, sit on the deck with a book or email friends with the wifi. We loved being able to walk everywhere - the down town and the pier are only 5 minutes walk. People are friendly, places to eat are good, there's even a barber who'll give a guy a shave with a blade and give you a beer at the same time...life is good in Seal Beach. Lois is retired and I've got a couple years to go but when the time comes we'd like to winter in Seal Beach. Our stay at the Seal Beach Guest House I can honestly say is probably the nicest vacation we've ever had.

“Beautiful view” The view from the living room was absolutely stunning and the location of the cabin was perfect; it was about 5 minutes away from big Bear village.

“Great Time” 6 of my friends and I spent the weekend as a get-a-way & absolutely enjoyed our stay! Our goal was to have a nice place to relax together and have fun together and this was the right place to do it! We ended up meeting the group staying in the cabin next to us and had a fun night all together enjoying our vacation. It was a perfect distance to rentals and the slopes and the cabin was prepared with everything we needed to cook and clean. (More hand towels could be useful for cleaning... We had to wash and dry the only two provided so that we could clean again... Only suggestion!!) I would (and already have) recommend anyone to use the cabins!! :)

“Perfect” Our family stayed here for a weekend in September and thoroughly enjoyed it! We live in Oxnard and needed a place for family visiting from out of town. The Dunes Hideaway was the perfect solution for us! The beach is close and the home is comfortable and clean! There are bikes for adults and toys for children. With three bedrooms and two bathrooms there is space for everyone! Jana has thought of everything you could possibly need and has it waiting for you. She is easy to work with and made the whole process simple, Our family will stay here again and again. The Dunes is set up with everything you need, Just bring yourself and desire for fun or relaxation, it's all close by. A book with menus from nearby restaurants and suggestions for local activities has been compiled by the owner and is a great resource if you choose to go out. The open concept kitchen makes staying at home tempting. A nice deck for BBQ-ing is a great bonus! You will love how easy it is to stay at the Dunes Hideaway!
