“Made our stay fantastic!” I would recommend this apartment to anyone wanting to stay in Rome. We were met at the apartment by aldo and was shown around. He pointed out tourist sites and which metro or bus to get there. There was a local cell phone there for our use. Mid stay he brought by a nice dessert for us to enjoy. He even set up the taxi service to/from airport. It is on a busy street, but the windows blocked most of the noise and I didn't have any problems sleeping at night. It is in a great location. You can walk to most sights. The metro and bus stops were very close by for the sights that were not within walking distance.

“Migliore appartamento in Roma!!” My friends and I feel very fortunate to have found this gem of a place to stay in Rome! The apartment is spacious and comfortable with many amenities - - elevator, computer, modern kitchen and bathrooms, and of course la terrazza! The weather was perfect in mid-October; after full and tiring days of sightseeing, we could relax and enjoy this fabulous al fresco setting. The location of the apartment is ideal with a grocery store next door, a good restaurant across the street, a short walk to the Metro, and a quick train ride to the Termini station. The owner,Ida,responded to my initial inquiry immediately and to all our follow-up questions as well, and Paola, her daughter who lives across the hall, is a great concierge. We are especially grateful to Paola's efforts in returning an important item that was left behind. Grazie mille.

“Excellent Stay” David is very helpful with giving directions. He sent written instructions to reach the apartment and the main attractions for reference, as well as some maps. As we were leaving, my friend mentioned that he needed a place to stay for one extra night on the way home, and since this apartment was not available, David offered to check with someone he knew in the same area...and was able to arrange the accommodation for my friend. The apartment is perfectly clean and the bed super comfortable! We had breakfast in the patio every day! Easy to get what you need for eating in or making a lunch to go...fresh fruit & vegetable vendor right just around the corner, a supermarket on the same side of the street approx 1 block further in the same direction, and good pizza at small family restaurant across the street (white plastic tables & red chairs outside). approx 2 blocks walk to tram #8 (Ponte bianco stop) which takes just a few stops to get you to piazza venezio, where you find Colosseum and many other attractions. approx 5 blocks walking to get to Trastevere train station...where you can get train connections towards Vatican City, Roma Termini station, and airport, etc..Highly recommended

“great!” Very clean lovely small appartment; great for staying and exploring Rome. The location is good; tram is close by. As are supermarkets. The appertment is clean; the bed is good and the jacuzy great after a long day of walking! I would certainly recommend this place to my friends and family when visiting Rome. David was a helpfull and friendly host who explained everything and even had some snacks and a bottle of wine ready when we arrived. Highly recommended!

“Perfect apartment in the middle of Rome” My husband and I stayed here during our recent trip to Rome and could not have been happier. The apartment is within walking distance to many of the sites is the city, i.e. Palentine Hill, Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, etc. We even walked over the Piazza Navona and Campo de Fiori one of the days. There are tons of great restaurants within walking distance as well. This apartment is also right by the Metro, which made it very easy to get to the Vatican and some of the other sites a bit further out. The apartment itself was fantastic. Very modern bathroom and a fully stocked fridge! We loved being able to make ourselves a Nespresso every morning that we sipped while we planned our daily activities. Clara even left us the most delicious blood orange juice, which was a treat for us americans :) The neighborhood is quite lively on the weekends with lots of little bars in the area. The one downfall was the height of the ceiling. My husband and I are both close to 6 feet tall and had to worry about bumping our head on the door frame coming in and out of the apartment. If you are on the shorter side, this place will be perfect for you. However, if you are over 6 feet tall, you may be crouching your entire time in the apartment. Overall, the place was wonderful and we will book it again our next time in Rome.

“Stylish, clean, comfortable--great terrace!” My wife and I rented the Flower Apartment from October to December of 2014, and we really enjoyed our stay there. Although the apartment is located in Monteverde outside the Centro Storico, the location is excellent-- the apartment is one block away from the #8 tram, a 20-minute ride that takes you through Trastevere to Piazza Venezia whenever you want to go into central Rome. Busses to the Vatican and the Gianicolo are also easy to catch. Also, the apartment is one block away from an excellent outdoor market where you can buy the freshest fruits, vegetables, meats, cheeses, and breads. A family-owned Sicilian restaurant, Mediterraneo, with great food is nextdoor—we ate there six times! Around the corner is a great gelato shop, Tony’s, which we could never resist. The apartment itself is on the fifth floor with no elevator, but we didn’t mind the climb too much to the comfortable accommodations. The kitchen is fully equipped, although there’s no microwave oven; the heating and air conditioning worked well; and the washing machine, while a little quirky, was soon solved and cleaned our clothes well. The bedroom and living room are roomy and comfortable, but the nicest feature is the plant and flower-decorated terrace, on which we enjoyed many relaxing meals and glasses of wine. We also found ourselves enjoying the tasteful and stylish photos, artworks, and books throughout the apartment. A helpful feature is the desktop computer that has Skype and is useful for finding bus routes and museum information. The owner and her staff were always very helpful, but more than helpful, they were kind, friendly, hospitable, and understanding—people that we came to love then and we miss now. When our last day at the Flower Apartment came, we did not want to leave; it truly felt like home.
