“Wonderful weekend stay!” We had a weekend family get-together with a group from ages 2 to 65. Michael met us on arrival and gave us a grand tour of the lodge from beds to sleds. His love of the lodge was obvious as he shared its history. He went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. There was plenty of space for all of us - with room to spare. The large, well-stocked kitchen allowed all of us to share in the cooking and cleaning chores. The dining room was huge. The living room had plenty of space for all of us to congregate around the fireplace or to go to a corner for a game challenge or a quiet space. Lots to do inside (games, books, sound system, karaoke) and even a play area with table, chairs, books and toys for the young ones. Outside - to die for! A hill outside the door that was fun for all ages of sledders - and floodlights for night sledding. We had a great snowshoe hike on the trails (snow was not good for XC skiing that weekend).
