Response from the owner The Cabin is located on 100+ acre mountainous property in the Blue Ridge Mountain range. Abrams Falls Creek flows across the property in front of the cabin. The owner or caretakers do not live on site, and this is a remotely managed property. The closest neighbor is 1/4 mile away. Therefore, for the protection and the security of the cabin, guests, and owners, the property is equipped with an outdoor CCTV security system. Automated security system can't be turned off for someone's chosen lifestyle. Abrams Falls Cabin always maintains a high-quality family-friendly environment. Our guests can access the falls by hiking the short trail (on the left side of the creek). We have no control over display signs on other properties and their freedom of expression, and "gun signs" are not a rare sight on this part of the country. The only sign we have on our property is "Private Property, No Trespassing." All pictures of Abrams Falls Cabin that we advertise are as-is pictures of the property and the cabin. All our reviews are genuine experiences of our guests who stayed at the cabin. Almost every guest who stayed at the Abrams Falls Cabin had a pleasant time and enjoyed their vacation; some are repeat guests who visit us annually. As of August 2017, we have a brand new concrete driveway and it is a breeze to drive.
