Tryfan Holiday Cottage is part of Cerrig y Barcud Holiday Cottages Anglesey. We offer eight beautifully furnished holiday cottages. Enjoy amazing views of Snowdonia, stunning scenery, and walks from the front door. Cerrig y Barcud is an extremely friendly, family run business. Whatever your choice of holiday cottage, you will feel at home from the moment you open the front door and once our guests have discovered Cerrig y Barcud, many return again and again.

Tryfan is a compact single-storey cottage to which our regular guests come back time and time again.

The cottage has an open-plan lounge/dining area with fitted kitchen. It has one bedroom and accommodates two adults in a double bed.

The lounge area is equipped with a comfortable leather sofa and armchair, central heating, colour TV with Freeview, a DVD player with a film library available.

The fitted kitchen includes electric cooker, microwave oven, fridge with freezer compartment, electric kettle and all the china, glassware, utensils and equipment you are likely to need during your holiday, including a hair dryer. The double bedroom has a shower room en-suite. This is equipped with a toilet and wash basin and a walk-in shower.

Tryfan has open views of the surrounding countryside and glimpses of the Menai Straits. The front patio, which has table and chairs, leads directly the large lawns. Car parking is conveniently arranged adjacent to the cottage.

Cerrig y Barcud Holiday Cottage provides a range of facilities including Games Room and Play Area. Set apart from the cottages, our Games Room offers table tennis, pool, air hockey and table football to provide entertainment whatever the weather. Our family of goats live next to the play area, from where they can be seen and fed. Our ponies will often come up to the fence to say hello too!

We pride ourselves on the cleanliness of our cottages. You will find your cottage contains high quality furniture and equipment in immaculate condition, carefully prepared for your holiday.

Getting around

We recommend that you have use of a car during your stay to make the most of your time on Anglesey and nearby Snowdonia. There are however bus and trains that may be useful if for example you plan to walk sections of the coastal path, and then get back to your starting point Train In addition to the main train station at Holyhead, there are request stop stations at Valley), Rhosneigr, Ty Croes, Bodorgan, and Llanfairpwll Bus Numerous bus services run to all the coastal towns on the island, and regular services run around the north coast of the island on the A5025, and slightly less frequently on the A4080. The only places with infrequent services are the north west and north east corners of the island
