Best of both worlds! Relaxing countryside studio in the grounds of owners 1860's Station House, uniquely placed just 10 mins drive from the vibrant city centre with all it has to offer. Excellent public transport links. 'The Cwtch' is situated in the quiet village of Taffs Well on the outskirts of Cardiff. Very cosy, fully equipped, newly decorated studio with log burner and 'Murphy' style bed.

Getting around

Trains - run from Taff's Well every 10 minutes or so at peak times into Cardiff, and take about 15 minutes. Last train back is about 23.25 (Mon-Sat). Buses - two buses pass the house into Cardiff the 26 and 132. It takes about half an hour to get into town. Road - we are close (7 minutes drive), but far enough away, from the M4, which gives you access for routes to and from London and West Wales.

“Fantastic little house”

“Perfect and cosy base”

A lovely, cosy place for my dog and I for our weekend visit to South Wales. A good location, whether you want to explore the countryside on foot, or head into Cardiff. Had everything we needed in a cosy, compact space. Clean and filled with all mod cons. A friendly welcome from the host, who recommended some local pubs and takeaways.

The Cwtch is a great place to stay. We have stayed many times before. Very convenient in a nice quiet location that is very ideal for. travelling into Cardiff. Will definitely stay again.
