Description

Spindrift is let by Coastal Holidays, an Anglesey based holiday letting agent. Located in a quiet corner of the beautiful Cemaes Bay, Spin Drift offers a very special holiday experience and provides a great base from which to explore the North Anglesey Coast.

Spin Drift can sleep up to seven, the beach is only 200 yards away, there are stunning sea views and the fishing village of Cemaes with its pubs, local shops and a hotel is close by. The Anglesey Coastal Path runs along the side of the garden. One well behaved pet is welcome, although the garden is not dog proof, it is enclosed.

Property description

Ground floor

Kitchen

Well equipped recently refurbished kitchen with microwave, induction cooker with electric oven, toaster, kettle, fridge, freezer, pots, pans, tea, coffee. etc. Superb view of the sea from the kitchen. Breakfast bar with 2 bar stools facing the kitchen.

Dining room/Small lounge area.

Open plan space from the kitchen leads to an open plan relaxed sitting area, with a three seater leather sofa, and rattan easy chair, with yet another window with a spectacular view. There is an electric flame effect fire, which is very cosy even with just the flames on for effect. Next to this, and also in the open plan area is the dining table with seating for six. The dining table looks out through patio doors to the sea, and Cemaes Bay beach, so a great view while you eat. The patio doors are very handy for reaching the garden and barbeque spot, or to just open and enjoy the sea air while you eat.

Through the old serving hatch by the table, you get views towards Wylfa head, and a glimpse of the new sea room, which replaced the old conservatory in early 2019. This is now an L- shaped lounge-dining area with a TV/ games area, including a flat screen 48 inch TV with Freeview, surround sound and DVD player. The surround sound also plays iPods, so do bring your music. There is also a coffee table, and a selection of games including Monopoly, Blokus, Chess and playing cards, for any rainy days – after you have come back from all the rainy-day activities outside of course. Round the corner from this there is a leather corner sofa with amazing views, standing in the new sea room you have over 180 degrees of sea view, watch the video to see what we mean! This room catches the evening sun. A lovely place for a sundowner. From here you can watch for dolphins feeding off the point, the sun dropping into the sea, or the ships cruising across the horizon.

Conservatory

The conservatory catches the evening sun. A lovely place for a sundowner, or supper for 2, if you are not barbequing. From here you can watch for dolphins feeding off the point, the sun dropping into the sea, or the ships cruising across the horizon. There is a tumble dryer tucked away in an alcove of the conservatory. It is simply fitted out with a bar table and bar stools (tall so you can see the view), a raised sofa with foot stools, and a rocking chair. Enjoy.

Entrance Hall

Under floor heating to help dry everything out, great for a wet dog! A fitted cupboard for storage, and the washing machine and tumble dryer are located here.

Bedroom 3 (Downstairs)

Ground floor bedroom that sleeps three in a triple bunk – a single over lower double bed. There is a bedside cabinet and a set of chest of drawers that provide plenty of clothing storage.

Shower room (Downstairs)

A stylish design curved walk-in shower, heated towel rail, vanity unit and basin complement this smart bathroom.

First floor

Bedroom 1 (Upstairs)

This double bedroom has the very best sea views with two windows both overlooking the sea, the double bed is orientated so you can see out of both, and enjoy amazing views while you sip your first cup of tea or coffee in the morning.

Bedroom 2 (Upstairs)

A large bedroom, with plenty of space for a cot. Contains two single beds. There is plenty of storage space, with a wardrobe, and set of drawers, as well as the usual stunning sea view.

Bathroom (Upstairs)

The P shaped shower bath provides the convenience of a spacious shower with the luxury of a bath. A wash basin, toilet, heated towel rail and probably the best view from a shower in the world, complete this attractive modern bathroom!

Outside

Outside the back garden is ideal for children to play. There is a low wall to not block any of the views, so although enclosed, it is not completely dog proof. The garden area benefits from magnificent sea views, a bench, and a wooden picnic table for outdoor eating. It is a perfect summers evening setting. There is ample parking for two vehicles at the front of the property.

Entertainment

The lounge consists of a 48 inch LCD TV with built in Freeview, DVD player surround sound system and various board games. The wireless internet box is also found in the lounge.

Outside

Outside the rear garden is ideal for children to play. The large garden area benefits from magnificent sea views, a bench, plastic chairs and a table. It is a perfect summers eve

"Yes it was lovely thank you, all fresh and new and a fantastic hallway…. The basket of treats was a lovely surprise thank you very much and the showers were such fun. …the TV and Internet access was very useful for the children and so was the game selection but the best for me was the hall and the under floor heating which was great area when coming in from the beech all wet and sandy…. …The best bit really was sitting in the garden watching the sun set every night without a drip of wind….. it was to die for, I have watched that happen from that bay ALL MY LIFE ….. …..Thank you again for a lovely place to stay”
